'Anuranan' director bags another Award

The director of ANURANAN, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, was awarded the Emerging Film-Maker Award at Santa Cruz Film Festival, held between 9 and 17 May in California. The Emerging Film-Maker Award is bestowed upon a debutante film-maker. The Santa Cruz Film Festival screened 148 films from 26 countries, where ANURANAN was selected for the competitive section.
ANURANAN was presented by Shemaroo Entertainment and Screenplay Films, with Rahul Bose, Rituparna Sengupta, Raima Sen and Rajat Kapoor playing lead roles.
