After the sensational success of Partner, director No. 1, David Dhawan, is all geared to slip into his director's hat yet again with UTV Motion Pictures' Hook Ya Crook. Written by Rensil D'Silva, the award winning writer of Rang De Basanti, the film stars John Abraham in the lead and is set to hit the floors this October after John concludes the shoot of Dharma Productions', Dostana and YRF's Kabir Khan film.

This is the first time that the ace comedy director and John will be teaming up for a complete entertainer.

UTV Motion Pictures has been extremely eager to associate with David Dhawan. UMP has also shared a commendable relationship with John Abraham in the past, with Hook Ya Crook being John's second film with the banner after Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal; it will continue to strengthen John's and UMP's affiliation.

Alpana Mishra, Senior VP, Production said, "We are extremely happy with the way the script has shaped up. It's a film that will keep the audience hooked from word go. The team on the film is a great one; from David, John to Rensil and we are all raring to hit the floor with this one."
