Gemini Studios enters film production

Gemini Studios, a name to reckon with in the production of T.V. serials like 'Hare Kanch Ki Chudiyan' has now entered film production business with three films. The first film to be made under the Gemini Studios banner is Zor Lagaake…Haiya directed by Girish Gerija Joshi (who has assisted film-maker Raj Kumar Santoshi in the past).
Zor Lagake…Haiya is a film revolving around five children who inspire adults to bring about changes. The film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Gulshan Grover, Riya Sen, Seema Biswas, Raj Zutshi along with 5 kids including the talented National Award winning child-star Ashwin Chitle (of Shwaas fame)
The film, currently in production, is produced by Kartikeya Talreja with music composed by Bapi Tutul. It is expected to release around May this year.
Besides the film, Gemini Studio has also launched a film school called Digital Academy to train students in the field of editing, cinematography, direction and animation.
