Jaggu Dada is known to be one of the better dressed men in the industry so it does come as a double-shock to see him dressed at his worst at a film premiere. While the tie and white shirt are nothing much to write home about, what was he thinking trying to mix and match different shades of black and grey in his suit and pant. The red glasses tucked in his shirt pocket, horizontal strips on the suit and the weird symbols on the pant only add to the disaster and going by his body language, Jackie seems as uncomfortable in those clothes as we are looking at this fiasco.
Till some years ago whatever Mandira Bedi wore was considered trendy and in. The lady who had men hooked onto their T.V. sets even between inning breaks sure knew a thing or two about fashion. Which is why one wonders what Ms.Bedi was thinking, when she decided to wear this outrageous costume. The golden bag and those stockings surely add up to the mess. Stick on to those noodle straps rather than trying something outlandish. Better safe than sorry.
Anurag Kashyap spent most of last year taking potshots at other people like Karan Johar and Khalid Mohammad. He even made some unfortunate souls like Yours Truly endure the most stressful movie-going experience in recent times, No Smoking. He surely seems to have got the message on his T-shirt right but towards whom is it intended at? I think the audience would have been better off wearing this shirt. Anurag, don’t you know what goes around comes around. So you better be prepared.
Like every year, even the year 2007 saw a lot of our B-town folk turn up at product / film launches, premieres and parties. However, what one first observes is the outfits which these screen gods come in when they are not donning the grease-paint.
Bollywood Hungama brings you a snapshot of some of our celebs who we feel could do with more than a tip or two on how to dress right.
Here’s presenting some of ‘The Worst Dressed Celebs of 2007’.
Abhay Deol sure seems to have a thing for ties or may be he didn’t really get to fulfill his desire of wearing them during his school days. That perhaps explains why he is seen hanging a tie around his neck here, there and everywhere. Abhay darling, at least take care that you get the length of your tie right if not anything else.
Blue, Blue, Blue, Red, Blue, Blue, Red, Red. That’s Rakhi Sawant for you from top to toe. Looks like she and her ‘baliye’ Abhishek decided to stick to only these two colors for this movie-premiere. But we guess, Abhishek must have backed out (wisely) and Rakhi went ahead saying, “Main toh pehnoongiâ€. Needless to say, she did get what she always wants, eyeballs and more eyeballs, more news coverage and more publicity. As for the costume, this one left us having the same expression which Rakhi has on her face. Awww.
