I was about two and a half year old, when we had gone to Jaipur to visit my grandmother. My father had taken us to the studio to click the picture. That's me and my brother Rahul, who, now, lives in London.

The adjoining pic has me and my brother when were getting ready to go to school. I still remember the name of our school Dhanamal High School. We used tin a small koli (room) .

These days, one sees a million products being launched everyday with almost everybody who is somebody being its brand ambassador. But, have you ever wondered as to if at all there was a title of 'Brand Ambassador' of grace, poise, beauty, elegance, class and style, who would it be? Well, think no further, as its none other than today's birthday girl Anjana Sukhani, who, after making an impressive debut with Humdum, took no time to make her presence in the twinkling tinsel town with films like Salaam-e-Ishq, Golmaal Returns etc…

On her birthday today, Bollywood Hungama caught up with this cool chic for an exclusive interview in which she talks about her childhood, her growing up years, and life as Bollywood Star.

My mother calls me Sona, while my friends and cousins call me 'Tinku'. Lot of my friends now have started calling me 'Angie'.

Place of birth: Jaipur

Parental background:
My mother is from Mumbai and her name is Preethi, while my father's name is Om and he is from Jaipur. While my mother is a housewife, Daddy is into garment exports. As I told earlier, I have got an elder brother Rahul, who is now in London.

First ad:
The first ad that I ever shot for was for 'Whisper', for which I never got paid for! The ad also didn't go on air due to a conflict between the agency and the production company. But, its due to this ad, I got my second ad, which was for Avon Cycles.

Lastly, what's your line-up of films?
I have two releases early next year: Tum Milo Toh Sahi, with Nana Patekar, Dimple Kapadia, Suniel Shetty and others, and the next one is called Allah Ke Banday with Sharman Joshi and gang. Besides all this, I have a Kannada film which releases on 11th December. It's called Marialli Jyotialli and stars the 'Golden Star' Ganesh. Wish me luck everyone!

Are you in touch with any of your childhood friends?
I am in touch with my childhood friend Suman. We have been friends since childhood.

Your favourite subject in school and college?
In school, it was Biology, while in college, it was Psychology.

Were you into extracurricular activities?
I used to sing for my school coir.

As you can see, this is indeed a very funny picture, wherein I am dressed as a Sardar. I basically was a member of an international organisation called AIESEC, an international student body. And every year we had this annual National Congress. This snap was taken during one of the programmes, where each one of us had to cross dress and do something weird. And you know what! I had a crush on this guy and I badly wanted to prove him that I am so cool (laughs). That's why I thought of dressing up as a Sardar and impressing him!

What's your take on Bollywood?
It's changed big time. Lot of opportunities have opened up as compared to then.

Any regrets in life so far?
I regret doing Sunday. It did not do anything for me.

This is a very dear picture of mine, as it's very close to my heart. I was in my 11th or 12th standard, when this snap was taken. I shot this snap for a friend of mine Hemant, who is a designer, and he wanted me and Pooja to pose for him. This snap was taken in Jaipur to 'display his collections' apparently! I think the modelling streak comes from there (laughs) .

How was life post your debut film Humdum?
The response was very sweet. At the same time, I did not become a superstar overnight.

Were you into sports?
Only on sports day in school.

Did you ever work in an office: the typical 9-5 job?
While I was in school, I used to work in an export company.
