Priyanka enjoys her photoshoots. I have been shooting with her before her first movie released, when she was a model and had won the Miss India contest. She always makes beautiful pictures. She wants to try something different, as evident in our latest photo too. We took a top angle shoot and I was high up there on the crane to get the shot. It's got the right vintage accessories, shorts and black body suit that she's wearing and everything put together is what makes this picture work.

In contrast to some pictures where we've gone grungy and dark, for Deepika we went completely soft in every respect. Still it has an element of sexiness and sensuousness…like sitting on the bed, showing off her legs and back. In other words, it has a dreamy look.

We shot this at Verma's stud farm at Goregaon (East), Mumbai. We knew that we wanted to play with horses. However, there were two beautiful horses - one black and one white and we were confused between the two. We then finally settled for the black horse and chose a backdrop which is quite dark. Her outfit is black as well and the only thing that stands out is her skin tone, in terms of her back, face and expression. We've usually seen the bubbly and energetic side of Asin. This time, we went more sensuous and a tone different from what people have seen of Asin.

Ranbir's picture is very dramatic, with regards to the shadows coming out of the scaffolding, grungy background, suspender falling down, rusty grey trouser and the cold tone. With Ranbir, over conceptual pictures don't work. And since he's such a great actor, the fewer gimmicks you do in a picture, the better. As an actor, he relies a lot on the director and the photographer. You can mould it the way you want. He always seeks inputs from me and Manisha and then he'll add his own acting to it. After that, he'll give us the final picture.

Vidya completely gives in to us. This is how she has been since our first shoot. She enjoys the whole vibe about shooting with me and I, too, enjoy shooting with her. Although it's a very sexy and sensuous picture, we didn't have to try very hard. We told her about the mood of the shoot, handed her the men's jacket, glasses and cigarette to give a masculine touch to the shoot and suggested poses and angles as well. All this was done as we wanted to go stronger with the attitude but at the same time present the woman as sexy and sensuous.
