Kabir Khan's blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger had a lot of deadly action sequences but at the core of it, this was a love story between an Indian RAW agent (Salman Khan) and a Pakistani spy (Katrina Kaif). The film did face some opposition in Pakistan because of its slightly controversial topic but in India it was loved by one and all emerging the biggest blockbuster of 2012.
Debutant Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starred as a duo who simply love to hate each other in Habib Faisal's rustic Ishaqzaade.
