As the turf has begun heating up for Shahrukh Khan starrer mega budgeted movie Ra. One, slated for this Diwali release, the makers of the film don’t want to leave any stone unturned in the promotions for the film.
Latest in the promotion bandwagon, joining is the news about a Play Station game to be made for Ra. One. Speaking exclusively to Bollywood Hungama, Atindriya Bose, Country Manager, Sony Computer Entertainment India shared, “There is a strong possibility that we may go ahead with a Ra. One game for Playstation’s Consoles but we are looking at the partner who can develop the game in the short span before the release.”
“In a console game, the development process is quite long. It’s challenging for us to recoup the time that has gone. Red Chillies and Sony are already and in talks with each other, and as we find a right partner for developing the game and green signal from Red Chillies, we might go ahead with the project” he added.
Apart from these official comments from Sony, sources close to Bollywood Hungama told that the development process of the game has already started. The publisher has started commissioning the project to studios, out of which, the Mumbai based Trine Gaming Studio is one the developers. There are chances that Trine can solely develop the game, and if not, the project could be further divided among other studios.
Ra. One is a Hindi science-fiction superhero film directed by Anubhav Sinha. The film features Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal and is being produced by Khan’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment.
