CEO N. Madhusudhanan moves on from Geon Studios

Here is a bit of exclusive information and as always, its first on Bollywood Hungama.

VFX stalwart N. Madhusudhanan, the CEO, co-founder and VFX supervisor at Mumbai based Geon Studios, has put in his papers.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Madhusudhanan confirmed the development by saying, "Yes, I moved on from Geon." As we file this story, we are still awaiting to get further details about his move and his next assignment.

N. Madhusudhanan is one of the pioneers of the Indian Visual effects and compute animation industry. He has produced and supervised visual effects for more than 60 Indian motion pictures and 9 Hollywood pictures.

He was instrumental in highlighting India's artistic skills by producing few shots in The Lord of The Rings - The Return of The King which also ultimately won three Academy awards for best visual effects. Later, he had worked on Click, Stormbreaker, Spiderman 3, The Warrior's Way and most recently, Gulliver's Travels.

Madhu is one of the early Indian visual effects experts who got elected as an active member of Visual Effects Society (VES) in Los Angeles and has been one of the key members in the foundation of Geon Studios. He is currently the VES Ambassador to India.

GEON is a digital visual effects and animation facility based in Mumbai and has executed a number of visual effects projects for Hollywood and Indian regional cinema.
