The much talked about and keenly anticipated Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan hit screens last week. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film which released across 8000 screens has been doing impressively well at the box office in both the domestic and international markets. After opening on a thunderous note, the business of the film has been seeing a constant increase with each passing day. Now on its seventh day running Pathaan has managed to cross the Rs. 600 cr mark at the worldwide box office.
Collecting Rs. 23 crores nett in India (Hindi – Rs. 22 crores, All Dubbed versions – Rs. 1 crore), the total gross collections of Pathaan at the domestic box office on its 7th day are pegged at Rs. 28 crores. Seeing a similar trend, the overseas box office registered Rs. 15 crore gross on day 7. With this the total collections of Pathaan at the overseas box office in 7 days is pegged at USD 29.27 million (Rs. 238.5 crores), while the film’s domestic collections stand at Rs. 330.25 cr nett (Hindi – Rs. 318.50 crores, Dubbed – Rs. 11.75 crores). As of now, the total worldwide collections of Pathaan are pegged at a staggering Rs. 634 cr gross within just 7 days of its release.
Going forward, Pathaan is expected to see its business growth further over its first week, with trade predictions indicating a spike in collections over its second weekend running. Thanks to this, Pathaan has now become a must watch which is being celebrated across the nation.
