Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film that received positive feedback opened on a good note. Since then, the business of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui has seen an upward trend at the box office with audience patronising the film.

Collecting Rs. 14.53 cr. on its opening weekend the Ayushmann Khurrana – Vaani Kapoor starrer has become the third highest opening weekend grosser of 2021. Though the film trails behind previous releases Sooryavanshi that collected Rs. 77.08 cr. and Antim – The Final Truth that collected Rs. 18.61 cr, it manages to outperform certain other releases like Tadap that collected Rs. 13.52 cr, Bellbottom that collected Rs. 12.75 cr, Roohi that collected Rs. 12.58 cr, and Satyameva Jayate 2 that collected Rs. 9.76 cr.
Currently running in theatres with little to no competition from previous and new releases, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is expected to maintain its steady run at the box office. As per trade predictions the film could easily reach the Rs. 25 cr. mark by the end of its first week in theatres.
