Rajkummar Rao can rejoice. He has earned the biggest solo success of his career with Newton entering the double digit score. The film has already collected Rs. 11.83 crore and if someone would have said to Eros, Aanand L. Rai and Drishyam Films prior to the release that this would be the lifetime total then they wouldn't have minded that at all.
Judwaa 2 has released and is creating havoc already which means Newton has an uphill journey ahead. That said, it has already done its job and whatever additional comes in now would be a bonus no less.
The film has collected on the same lines as Lipstick Under My Burkha so far but it has to be seen if it ends up coming close to the Rs. 20 crore mark in its lifetime run.
