Prakash Jha is known for making politically oriented films. And with his latest film Satyagraha doing well at the box office, we think he has prove his point. However, just to prove that even a film that comes from the political thriller genre can become a hit, Bollywood Hungama decided to pit it against the Top 10 Highest grossers of 2013.
In this edition of Box Office Report Card, we compare the lifetime collections of films listing them in descending order. While the top slots are dominated by biggies like Chennai Express at number one position with collection of Rs. 225.67 crores, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani at second with Rs. 188.57 crores, and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag at third with Rs. 108. 87 crores, Satyagraha makes it to number seven collecting a total of Rs. 61.77 crores.
Satyagraha enters the list at number 7 beating other hits of this year like Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara, Raanjhanaa and Shootout At Wadala.
