The Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released on Friday to a highly positive response from the critics and audience alike. After taking off to a flying start the business of the Anees Bazmee directorial saw further growth on its second day running. In fact, the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani production managed to draw in Rs. 18.34 cr on its second day running.
In this box office report, we look at the collections of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 on its first Saturday while comparing the same to previous releases of 2022. Collecting Rs. 18.34 cr, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has emerged as the third highest first Saturday grosser of 2022. Though there was immense hype and promotions surrounding Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 the business of the film does not manage to surpass the collections of previous releases like KGF – Chapter 2 which collected Rs. 42.90 cr and RRR which collected Rs. 24 cr on their respective first Saturdays. However, the Kartik Aaryan starrer does manage to outperform other releases like Gangubai Kathiawadi which collected Rs. 13.32 cr, Bachchhan Paandey which collected Rs. 11.50 cr, The Kashmir Files which collected Rs. 8.50 cr, and Heropanti 2 which collected Rs. 5.50 cr.
Currently, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 continues to run with audiences flocking theatres. Going by the current trend the business of the film is expected to see even further growth on its third day, as per predictions the film could see over Rs. 20 cr more coming in on its first Sunday.
