He made waves with SHWAAS, his debut film, which was India's nominee at the Academy Awards. And now director Sandeep Sawant has decided to step into the Hindi film arena. I am not quitting Marathi films, the soft-spoken Sawant informs me, In fact, I am planning a Hindi film as well as a Marathi film. Although the star cast of his Hindi film is yet to be finalized, Sawant and the producer of the film, Govind Ubhe, will officially announce the project on Saturday, April 9. Watch this space!
