Just a couple of days back, there were reports that Mallika Sherawat was attacked by some masked men in Paris. The incident occurred when Mallika and her boyfriend French businessman Cyrille Auxenfans, fell victim to mugging.
Now talking about the shocking attack, Mallika in an interview to a popular television news channel spoke about the incident. Expressing her views of not being phased by such paltry criminals and that she would not let the incident change her life, she added, “It takes more than 3 masked men to take me down, I am a strong woman.”
Apparently, Mallika and Cyrille were attacked from behind by three masked men who sprayed tear gas and pushed her to the ground. While they started hitting Cyrille, they tried to grab Mallika’s bag. Further talking about the incident Mallika added, that though Cyrille was a little hurt, they refused to cower down and fought off the men. Citing the happening as extremely traumatic, Mallika went on to say that no one should be made to suffer the insecurity of having their home broken into or the physical and mental abuse of such an attack. Though temporarily blinded by the teargas Mallika is now better with just a few bruises and marks and the feeling of having to look over her shoulder.
Back on the work front, Mallika is gearing up for the release of the much talked about film Time Raiders.
