Source informed threw light on the poster making and said, “Where in today's time most filmmakers believe in 'Photoshoot' sessions for poster shoots, the filmmaker Kabir Khan was sure to go the natural way to make the poster look real. No one knows that the 'Boxer' poster has been shot candidly.”
The source further added, “When Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan were done with the boxing sequence filming for Chandu Champion, then only Kabir Khan decided to shoot the poster naturally as Kartik was completely into the character. The filmmaker took the moment and shot the picture.”
