Movie ka hero kaun??? Bachcha party!!!! The kids are really amazing. They are not like the typical bollywood kids who are made to act smart. They are like normal real kinds – they are naughty, they are nice, they are everything that kids are. Actually kunal didn’t use them as mere child artistes. They were given their parts and they played it perfectly – each one of them. Saif plays this cool cucumber who gets hot (his temper, I mean!?!?!) rather quickly. But who is complaining. He is so natural that it doesn’t look as if he is acting. But he doesn’t have much to do in the movie. And rani mukherjee truly takes away all the glory. Her facial expressions have never been so good. It’s a treat to watch her in the song “main bulbulaâ€. Why only the song, you will like every bit of her peppy fairy avtar. Its only her acting that makes all the difference – and won’t even care about how many outfits she is wearing in the movie. I have one thing to say rani. rani, you rock dude, no matted what your detractors have to say. Rishi kapoor is quite adorable in his short role. You might actually feel that God resembles him. But why did we have tarana in the movie. Her part could be played by anybody. and ameesha does her bimbette part perfectly so much so that you feel irritated by her. But kunal could very well give her character a miss. I think ameesha was included in the movie for the oomph factor, which YRF have been pretty obsessed with, lately. And what’s Mahesh thakur doing. He doesn’t even have a dialogue. The special effect are really good. The best one being where rani and the kids are shown to take part in the dandi march with gandhiji. And though the music did not fair good, fits perfectly with the situations. Don’t be surprised if you start humming them after the movie, specially “pyaar ke lieâ€. In all, a movie worth watching. the story is predictable but It brings a smile to your face. Even if you enter the theatre with a frown, you are bound to come out with a happy heart. If not anything, if gives you hope – for a happy tomorrow for yourself. I only hope the movie had been a little longer coz I luved the magic and would luv to see more of it.

It is not a masterpiece or a 'oh-so-different' kind of a film but it will entertain u to the fullest.A very simple and sweet story nicely told. And Rani(even in a dull costume)looks and enacts far far better and superior than Miss Kareena 'Overhyped-Size0' Kapoor

Hi this is Dr.M.N.Ali Great fan of good Indian movies and big fan of evergreen actress Rani Mukherjee Whatever has been said and talked about TPTM, Pre release was not hyped at all and many people have completely written off the movie without even watching it, and for me it was important as firstly as a big fan of Rani I wanted this movie to work and to work big times and to prove to all those Kareenas and Katrinas ( though i like them ) that the sober and simplistic Rani is still there , shes not back as shes had never gone any where its just the media who was constanlty sidelining her and giving her place to other actresses who yet need to do some thing as big as rani ( talking about films ) to take away her numero Uno position Yes you would feel like its an entertainer aimed mainly for kids and to make them laugh but if that's what you are going to expect then rest assure you would come out and feel elated because it does touch you heart as an ( adult ) and make you feel happy anout things and make you feel light and good. Kunal Kohli is a very good story teller and a director ( which we all know ) by now He wastes no time, gets straight into business sets the story clearly and defines roles within the first 15minutes, we all kind of knew from the trailers that children would be living with Saif but no one knew why? so that was bit of a surprise and then from the very first day the kids play the pranks and their interaction rather animosity with saif deserves full marks, each child in its own way tries to do something to make you feel their avenge, their wrath for the sake of their parents, coz no matter how much one is good to you, you can forget the killers of your parents and that’s well shown, well then happens the unbelievable Though personally for religious beliefs and reasons I may have not agreed with Rishi Kapoors scenes and I would not like to further comment on it just would like to say it could have been dealt in somewhat different way But the moment Rani sparkles the screen, you would upright your posture and you can tell that some thing nice is going to happen, there are no twists and tales you predict what would happen but you wouldn't how things will happen and here Kunal deserves full marks. Rani's introductory song is amazing, I never listened to this song pre release as it dint sound that appealing but was a delight to watch rani in a different get up all together and for a change a white outfit than donning blue and beige everytime. Hair style was good too I loved the picturisation of this song Rani's intro, her first interaction with the saif and the way she talks in the first five min with saif is sure goin to make her win applause because she looks so natural and comfortable in those scenes and I am sure its never seen before rani,( atleast for the first time where there's no rona dhona ) her then interaction with kids and the way she transforms their pranks and tricks into a pleasurable experience is a delight to watch. The story unfolds quickly and the sequences are just pleasurable to watch you don't get bored, There are some touchy and emotional moments such as ; Aditi's b'day and how you feel for that poor girl and her reaction to her siblings when they wish her, Iqbal when he says he doesnt want to be A Sikh, and the way saif handles it full marks. Rani explaining kids about God's plus points and rewards and then iqbal asking what they have done to deserve the punishment God had given them and the expression on Rani's face. Saif's helplessness infront of the judge and later frustration when he fears he couldn't go to accomplish his deal in LA Iqbal c/o Stomach ache The repentance by the kids at what they had done in LA whilst saif was busy finalising the deal and how rani explains vashisht is a good example The film engages you throughout and the songs although not mind blowing but their picturisation would definitely be remebered especially rani dancing with the Dinosaur and the Iron man with the mask is great. Lazy Lamhe is a visual treat for adults but I found it a good song in the right place and the proceedings are hilarious, I was expecting saif to blast rani and the kids but was surprised to see his cool reaction! Ending was heart touching rani sitting next to the bin and then seeing the kids in the church you would just wish oh this one definitely needs a happy ending and your wish comes true. Performance wise; Scene stealer, call her show stealer, all time perfomer and perfect to the role Rani Yes indeed you couldnt imagine any one else playing this role, she has played her role with ease and convinces you when she talks about morals, good behaviour and her attachment with kids, and to say she looks simply charming , though as an angel could have donned different outfit but for reasons unknown to me director have chosen to stick to one outfit, Rani is loveable, never seen before role and above all clearly sends out a message to all others she's still there and u can tell by her acting prowess, She has definitely grown big as an actress and i truly agree the reason shes not doing too many movies at present rather hardly any except one under YRF with shahid Kapoor coz she has done so many big roles that its hard to play any miniature roles any more and surely this one's to be remembered as one of her career best all times, Brilliant performance Saif is likeable, competent and acts naturally, hes surely matured and grown big from film to film and nice to see him a loner turned to a charming, friendly brother to those kids Ameesha is not irritating as many other reviewers have mentioned but she is ok. No histrionics required for that role Kids performance wise Child who played Iqbal- 9.5/10 He touches you, makes you laugh and sympathise with him in almost all scenes, right from the bathroom scene, to icecream scene with siblings and rani, playing the pranks on rani and saif, when he doesnt want to be a sikh, to making sure he hides his friendship with saif from his brother, how he apologises to his brother after the pool scene, Main nikla gaddi lekar and then the hilarious of it all when he tells saif rather asks him , was rani a christian as why are we coming to a church he's a sikh all this is so natural and he does it so naturally too full marks boy u sure going t get more movies. a star by all means then Aditi-8/10 this girl sure is going to go long wa, shes so typical a middle class clever hardworking indiand girl of her age and plays her part with ease, she would and may have touched millions of heart when she cries on her own in the bathroom and the way she expresses herself by accepting b'day wished from her sibling is touching, the cooking contest make u smile and feel that you had won instead of her. then Vashisht 8/10 very convincing as an elder brother who is more intellectual than others and wants to revenge and take out his wrath, you sympathise with him rather than getting annoyed with his attitude and arrogance, he does irritate you when he does things to upset saif but you do soon come to terms as to why is he doing all that, good performer when hes doing things to annoy saif and instigating his siblings but not so much when he's in the group gets overshadowed last but not the least Avantika the youngest is sweet adorable and am sure is funny to watch when she hears saif talking/bitching about ameesha and when she keeps on innocently saying to her siblings no one listens to me and when she says saif wants me to become his g'friend is hilarous I won't comment on Rishi's role as I said earlier for my personal religious beliefs in 2 words nice acting On the whole well made movie by K.KOHLI full marks for making us laugh and putting a smile on our and children's face, great vision and good to have had belief in rani-saif combo which I am sure would work big times This movie is sure to spread by big positive word of mouth.
