Tera Mera Saath Rahen is a heart wrenching tale of two brothers with one of them suffering from cerebral palsy.

Raj Dixit (Ajay Devgan) is a middleclass man who living with his younger brother Rahul (Dushyant Wagh). Raj is extremely busy between his work and the responsibility of looking after... Rahul, which leaving him no time for himself. His beautiful neighbour, Suman Gupta (Namrata Shirodkar), is attracted to him, but he regards her as a friend only. Mr. Khanna (Prem Chopra) asks Raj to marry his niece, Madhuri (Sonali Bendre). Madhuri agrees to marry Raj on the condition that he admits his brother in an institution. Raj agrees not realising that things are going to take a turn for the worse.
