Awesome! Excellent! Incredible! Unbelievable! Gem of a movie!. The younger Jamal,Salim and Latika impresses the most in the film. Irfan Khan impresses in a small cameo of Police inspector. Freida Pinto (Latika) looks beautiful and has played her part well, though she doesnt have quite big role. The songs and music in the movie are mesmerizing which you can almost always expect from A R Rahman composition. Danny Boyle has done very good job in the direction with the film. Overall the movie is simply brilliant and I advise everybody to watch this movie. I'm going with four out of five and a recommendation not to miss Slumdog Millionaire.

absolutely fantastic, a masterpiece, excellent movie, go guys must watch it, and see how brilliant this foreighn film makers who come to our country, and make a perfect bollywood movie, which no body from india can make it and this guys from foreighn come and got the international award, do not bother about that tey have shown slums of india so what tehy also shown a courage of an indian boy who go trrough all the struggle in his life and become rags to riches. so in any sense there is no point that they have downgraded our nation but they have shown the fact which we cant refused it. a superbly told story, very strong direction, and very strong screenplays. its a fully entertainer in every manner.

The film is a top-notch effort by Danny Boyle deserves a watch by everyone. The story is simple yet effective. Jamal Malik is boy who grows up in the slums of Mumbai and gets the opportunity of a lifetime when he lands in the hotseat of Who Wants to be a Millionaire with Anil Kapoor playing the evil host, albeit, very convincingly. Overall, it's an excellent movie.

this is just another mediocre movie, over hyped just because the gora made it about the indian poverty and now its being acclaimed for the oscars... OFFCOURSE it is i mean movies with real issues such as dyslexia don't deserve to be on that list but the moment you put the third world slums in there its ALL OSCARS.

I think this movie is simply beautiful! good direction, story, and loved the music.. but acting could've been lil better in my opinion. I'm glad that it snatched all 4 golden globes that it deserves and glad that it got 10 nomination for oscar. I don't understand why some indians have problem with this movie. Its the fact that "WE" can't accept the reality....that slums, poverty, they all exist in India! You can't blame the director or anyone who was part of this movie because they decided to make a movie based on FREAKING BOOK!!!! oh yeah amitabh can complain how they portrayed the slums in India in this movie, but DOES HE DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT? NO!! BUT SURE GO AHEAD AND FREAKING COMPLAIN COZ SOME ONE DECIDED TO MAKE A MOVIE ABOUT INDIA, THAT PORTRAYS HOW SOME PART OF THE INDIA IS. SOME PEOPLE CAN JUST JUMP INTO CONCLUSION ABOUT "WHITES" BEING RACIST...YOU KNOW WHAT I'VE LEARNED FROM MY PAST LIFE...IS THAT WE INDIANS ARE THE BIGGEST RACIST IN THIS WORLD! WE ARE FREAKING RACIST WITHIN OUR OWN RACE! FYI...THE DIRECTOR PLACED THE MONEY IN A TRUST FOR THE THREE KIDS AND TO BE RELEASED TO THEM WHEN THEY TURN 16, AND THE PRODUCTION COMPANY SET UP AN AUTORIKSHAWS TO TAKE THEM TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY!!! SURE MR. AMITABH, COMPLAIN ALL YOU WANT. HAVE YOU DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT? PROBABLY NOT, SO COMPLAIN ALL YOU WANT! all those who didn't like this movie, its ur freaking opinion that doesn't matter to anyone but you...its not gonna matter to dev, danny, freida, anil. all those who haven't seen this movie, go watch it for yourself and rate it, if you don't like it, its your opinion, and if you like it is still your opinion. i love it and i would recommend it!

Slumdog Millionaire finally arrived India. After all,the film becomes a must watch after such an extarordinary recognition all over the World for this film. The film is different.Although the love story part is not new but the way director mixed Kaun Banega Crorepati story with the hero's flaskback is applaudable. The narration is terrific and film is packed with lot of appealing moments.I also feel the film exposes few slanderous things that prevail in India. The film focusses a lot on the people in the slums and I must say the film gives an inside picture to the whole world like why they see lot of child beggars when they visit India. The director exposed this to the maximum extent. The film was shot extensively in Mumbai at various locales. The film is like a journey.A journey of a slum kid making into the Nation's recognition. And all that he does is only because of Love and not for money. That is something unreal but is moving. The only unreal things I can see in this film are how can a street kid can speak English all of a sudden and that too in British Accent. But as per the context,it is somehow agreeable since it is a Hollywood film but not Bollywood..A Chai wala possessing exceptional communication skills in such a way interacting and bluff the customers and a kid who learns the art of disguising the Tourists and the kid is not from DPS or HPS instead he is from Slums in Mumbai.Gangsters in the streets of Mumbai conversing in English,These are certain things which are hard to digest and instead makes Slumdog appropriate to be made in hindi instead of an English film. But the film would nt have got rave reviews had it been made in hindi or for that matter if that got directed by an Indian director. The film is a conglomeration of memoirs of Jamal Malik with a fantastic ending. The film is like a book giving out details about the lives of poor people. The cast is entirely from India. All delivered powerpacked performances. Anil Kapoor 's character is a surprise.Dev Patel excelled in his role. The making is in Hollywood style, high on Technical standards.Danny Boyle is the best. A R Rahman delivered an energetic background score. The music album depicts the story of the film and A R Rahman's music is the forte for the film.He truly deserves an Oscar for his fabulous work.Slumdog is not worth without his music. The questions that were part of the Game show are well framed and how they are interrelated in the film's story is the most important feature in the film and that is the unique thing that this film proves to be an authentic one and first of its kind of.The film will be of wide interest to the people outside India just because they are quite unused to the context of the film.As far as the market in India goes by,The Kaun Banega Crorepati must be the enticing and the huge publicity will defnetly ensure a good run for the film.It does nt matter whether this film makes a huge impact in India or not since the film already received rave reviews allover and infact the film deserves that.
