Critics like Taran Adarsh should be stripped off their position as "cinema critics". The kind of review he posted for Saawariya was not only uncalled for and childlike- it was to a great extent awfully inaccurate!
Saawariya is a masterpiece by the genius himself. He created BROADWAY on screen and managed to grip and mesmerise...and ask any learned film analyst..that is one heck of a tough job! SLB does it with ease and such class!!
When an indifferent critic like taran adarsh asks questions like "where is this place".."what is the era"..i want to ask him if he was late for the beginning of a film where gulbaji specificallyt talks abt the dreamland she has created for her lovestory!
I shall staright get down to the character sketching...beautifully done for both ranbir raj and sakina...However, only ranbir manages to breath life and soul into the character while Sonam somewhat dissapoints! i expected more from her since she claimed to be a "graduate from the university of SLB"! Salman is quite truly there just for star value, while Rani stole the show with her crisp potrayal of gulabji!! she'sso good u almost want to dress in her bright tacky saris and dance with her!
i shall not expose the plot or the storyline of the movie since that would be awfully wrong (do u hear mr taran adarsh?)..
Overall a cinematic experience i shall always treasure!
