Film starts with amazing cinematography and background score. It felt really gripping with good acting and direction towards the start. Unfortunately, soon everything was dumped and looked haphazard. It's a perfect start for a good script, but here the poor script killed everything. The story never shaped well and kept viewers in doldrums. Nishikant Kamat way of direction is very interesting. I'm a fan of his earlier ventures and certainly this one was also directorially above average. A little help from the script would've raised the levels. Despite this being a dud, I'll not take anything away from Nishikant. It was a decent appreciable attempt. The movie provides good memories in terms of acting by the little kid. Right from the start, her role was responsible for sticking the viewers on their seat. John Abraham also starts well but does nothing special through the course of the movie. Shruti surprisingly has no role at all. Overall, an interesting initial build up that never grows.

I'm in my hometown for the Holi. So many of my school friends were going to watch this movie, so I quickly watched the trailer, hated it, but went anyway. No surprise, I got what I was expecting (Hint: its the title of this review). The story was weak right from the start. Naomi called Kabir handsome in the first scene and then in the following scene, she told him everybody calls him handsome in the locality. Woops, thats not the story's mistake, editor must had weak hands or no, director pushed the editors to do it. Whatever the reason, first impression was bad. But, it was not the last bad impression. The whole movie was filled with not so tightly knit scenes; not one, not two, but three item numbers; innumerable no brainers action sequences with five cuts every second and cliché ending. Worst scene was when Kabir was stabbed in the left side of the chest, but nothing happens to him. Is he supposed to have dextrocardia? I will not tell more goofs, it will ruin your movie experience, in case you still wanna watch it.

Must watch its a Deadly, Brutal Action pack thriller movie. Simply ! you Must watch Don't moved away by the under rated reviews given by paid movies critics. If you had saw the deadly actions of Keanu Reeves in John Wick then you must go for this. Best actions Sequences till now i had seen in any Bollywood movies. Its a Well executed movie, Decent story with thrilling script will bind you till end. Rocky Handsome is immensely thrilling in its classy action sequences. John Abraham infuses the right amount of deadliness into the gritty punching-kicking sequences. John puts everything in his effort. The hand-to-hand combat scenes are largely responsible for taking your breath away. Action Abraham does a fine job of donning the emotionless, cold-hearted, silent killing machine garb. John Did his best after Madras Cafe. Unstoppable Brutal actions

John Abraham with his stern and sturdy look is the only reason you would want to watch the movie. The story line has nothing new to offer and hardly any surprises. Throughout the movie ,scenes are thrown in a haphazard way and could be the reason the movie might fail to grip the audience .Sharad Kelkar as cop has been good but the acting of the villains was way over dramatic .Nevertheless if you love action movies ,then towards the end you would love the action scenes much inspired by the Raid Redemption 2. They are pretty brutal and violent though. So this weekend if you really don't want to put your brains to exercise ...you can have this one!

Rocky Handsome is a decent effort by Bollywood to present a less song and dance and more action movie. The movie is deeply deeply inspired from John Wick and many of the scenes reminding us that we are seeing a desi version of buffed up Keanu Reeves who talks less, shoots a lot Also like the famous move Raid it has borrowed some brutal knife fight scenes. In short it is a combo of 60% John Wick, 30% Raid and 10% Man on Fire ( theme of the plot ). The Direction is not so bad, but could have been better. Lot of holes in the plot which will keep you guessing why such brutal villains are so merciful with the hero and why there is a large group of police wondering who is John instead of arresting the drug dealers whom they know very well. In short the story could have been better and shows that where exactly bollywood directors falls short infront of Hollywood. It is a one time watch but if you are into lot of Hollywood action movies or movies like Raid 1 and 2 you might not enjoy it a lot. However most Indian fans would love the action scenes. Action 7/10 - Inspired from Raid Story 5/10 - Inspired from Man on Fire Movie experience - Average - Inspired from John Wick A ONE TIME WATCH BUT ENJOYABLE

Whoaaa... ?John Abraham has started a new era of action with ?ROCKY HANDSOME. Watched the movie yesterday evening and seriously... Such action is for the first time in history of bollywood. Even though the story is average, its very well executed and John's action has added flying colours to it. Its purely an action flick with amazing sequences of intense action. Director Nishikant Kamat has played villain in the movie. He has also acted very well. Last but not the least, the child actor Niomi on which the entire film revolves has acted brilliantly. Three cheers to her. Do watch the movie but I suggest not to take your child with you for the movie. Also the movie is not for faint hearted. Please keep this in mind before going for the movie.
