don't have words to describe it. u can just feel what rahman sir has created. u need to own rockstar's cd, it deserves to be bought. none of the songs seem 2 b incorporated in the album just from the commercial perspective. mr. rahman's experimentation has paid off big time. rockstar's music speaks for itself. by buying rockstar's cd u'll definitely do urself a favour. go grab it.

This is by far one of the best music albums to come out of India...ppl who doesn't hav any idea of progressive rock and complex musical structure only will find this album nt appealing...it's a sad story that the reviewer has mentioned at more than one occasion that the songs lacks commercial appeal..that;s the problem of here...ppl judge quality in-terms of commercial appeal...arre yaar this is a pure musical gem...few songs are pure progressive rock and the narrative structures of the songs are pretty complicated bt yer very musical...so this is known as master-piece...Indiafm should hire ppl to review music who actually knows something about music....Rockstar is actually a gift from Rahman to all msuic lover and Rahman is a gift from God to humanity

Rahman is back!! And this time he brings a super star with him...in the form of Mohit Chauhan. Of course this is not his first movie, but this album seems to have rediscovered both of them! Another re-discovery is that of Irshaad Kaamil. Coming to the songs....each song is a stroke of a genius! Be it the conventional melodious tunes such as Katyan Karoon and Phir Ud Chala or be it the hardcore rock numbers like Sadda Haq or Jo Bhi Main...! The songs grow on you with each listen and this time....the growth is exponential! Great Job to all involved! Great job to the musicians as well...the guitarist, the percussionists, and the rest! Rahman....we have been waiting for this....thank you so much for giving this phenomenal album to bollywood! Two Thumbs Up!!

All the time some usual stuff came in and gone with the wind. Finally A.R.Rehman came up with this music which forced me to praise and commend this music to every music lover. I simply enjoyed this album. Phir se Ud Chala Mohit Chauhan Sweet Soft Gorgeous. I loved the Composition and singing of Mohit. The song wonderfully arranged & as you listen to it grows on to you. Irshad Kamil surely support in the lyrics department. The Song has various shades and specially the Trance portion in the end. A treat for music lovers. 10 out of 10. Jo Bhi Main Mohit Chauhan The Interlude says it all, the song soft with hard thrashing electric guitar. Probably Mohit Chohan would never get such a chance that this album has provided & he really proved it. Rehman with his extraordinary talent make this song a Gem. The Chorus of Crowd roar seems so pretty that would surely ask for a repeat. Katiya Karun Harhdeep Kaur & Sapna Awasti A Punjabi folk song, with some exclusive moments. A.R.Rehman has this quality of adding his flavor to any kind of song. The beauty of this song is also the ending part which is sung by Harshdeep, that portion is loavable. Overall the song is excellent. Kun Faaya Kun A.R.Rahman, Javed Ali & Mohit Chauhan Bravura. Just one word for this Qawali. Rehman provided us with a soulful treat after years in Qawali Genre. A blended Ameer Khusroo’s poetry seriously takes you to another world. I seriously listened this millions in last few days as the promo goes on. Highly Recommended Qawali. “Who jo Mujh main Samaya Wo jo tujh main samya Mola wohi wohi maya tha”. Sheher Mein Mohit Chauhan & Karthik This is a situational song. Karthik sings first & Mohit repeats in his style. Purely situational and seems fine. Ok ok so so Haawa Haawa Mohit Chauhan This is another situational song which interprets a story of Raja & Rani. For the continuation of movie this song will be used, though it dosent says a lot by means of lyrics but the violins used and urban style music surely listenable. I just loved its start urrrrr haaaaahaaah Aur Ho Mohit Chauhan & Alma Ferovicn Sad Song by Rehman is also a treat for music listeners. This time it’s a Satrangi recreated in a new style. A cool composition which has warm feelings. A beautiful track. O Nadaan Parinday A.R.Rehman & Mohit Chauhan A plain composition which is a usual part of Rehman’s album. Its is just ok sort of song. Situation in the movie will matter this song. The heavy Electric Guitar usage was highlight part of this song for me. Tum Ko Kavita A semi classical song and thankfully a female song arrives. A typical Rehman Composition and it is loveable Sitar usage with tabla is good experimentation with addition of synthesizers. I enjoyed the song. Saadda Haq Mohit Chauhan, Orianthi & Clinton Cerejo Earth Shattering Electric Guitar starts Saada Haq. The song truly justifies the title of the movie. A hardcore Rock number. An enthusiastic rebellious song which will be heard for coming months every where. With absolute quality of being of popular this song really rocks. 100% recommended song. Tum Ho Mohit Chauhan & Suzanne Humming of Mohit just wins your heart. Though it is a very usual composition of Rehman but the orchestration changes its level. It just grows on youb as listen it more and more. A super melodious number. I also loved the Suzanne part in the song. One of the best track of this album. Finally some musical pieces like Tango for Taj, The Dichotomy of Fame & The Meeting Place. Listening to Rehman’s tunes just creates churning impact. Tango is a happy journey, the Dichotomy is refreshing surely people would never had heard this kind of version of a Shehnai and the meeting place has voice over by Ranbir. Rehman has done this job with this album
