If you have been watching hindi movies since ages - Go for it First of all i would like to ask the director,not only abbas-mustan DUO but all of the indian movie directors (except AAMIR KHAN) Q1 - Why do they have to show the actor in an image as if he is the ultimate star on planet - HE LIVES LIFE ON THE EDGE- common give us a break,who cares about that shit.We r not gonna run away from the theatre if the lead actor is a simple guy. Q2 - ACTION - Have to say,it hasnt change much since last 5-6 years.We hear all the time Bollywood is now at par with Hollywood in technique but i havnt seen any movie which proves that. Q3 - WORLD DOESNT NEED A SPIDERMAN????? WONDERING WHY??? BECAUSE OUR DESI HEROES CAN JUMP FROM ONE BUILDING TO ANOTHER. Q4 - WHAT ARE THE WOMEN FOR???? TO SHOW CLEAVAGES??? LEAD ACTRESSES WEAR NOT MORE THAN BIKINI IN DAY TO DAY LIFE AND WHEN THERE IS A STEAMY SCENE,WHAT DO THEY DO??? BITE EACH OTHER ON THE SHOULDERS. Q5 - RIGHT FROM THE THEME SONG TO THE BLOCKBUSTER SONG - PEHLI NAZAR,EVERYTHING IS COPIED. HERE IS A GUY,JUST SITTING N MIXING KOREAN MUSIC N HINDI LYRICS N EARNING LACS N LACS OF RUPEES.REST ALL SONGS ARE TRASH. Q6 - THERE ARE SO MANY CHEAP DOUBLE-MEANING DIALOGUES AND THE REST ONE-LINERS LIKE - "SAIF - ALCOHOL IS A SLOW POISON AKSHAYE - MARNE KI JALDI KISE HAI" ARE SO SO SO OLD!! It is a very bad attempt to emulate a hollywood thriller.You can guess the end half an hour before the climax ( If u cant,u better stick to bollywood movies ).Too much masala,too many songs which are badly timed as all the abbas-mustan movies.All said and done,the bottomline is this movie fails but still more than 80% of moviegoers will love it.Its a pity,really.Because as long as movies like RACE,OSO earn money,BOLLYWOOD is going nowhere. We need 50 AAMIR KHANs to change it......

I saw Race today at Fame malad... 3:30 pm show.... the film was house full...... In my opnion 'RACE' is a well made Stlyish film, with alots of Twist and Turns... but lacks Substance. The first half is really interesting and gripping. But the second is a complete Spoil-Sport and ends up like a dud. Director-duo Abbas Mustan have a made a decent fare... but once again they lack their best... If this one does well only because it has no oppositions for the next 3 weeks.... I am dissapointed...

Race is the best movie of ABBAS MUSTAB. I saw the movie.An excellent thriller with alot of suprises. Ver great entertaining, all of the performances was wonderful. The chemistry between Saif and Akshaye was the best. Saif is a realy good actor, so now i am looking for his next movie with Kareena Kapoor "Tashan" I like the storyline. Bipasa looks great, and performed very well. Bips acting was realy good. Katrina looked great.Zara Zara Touch Me a very nice song. she should play in hollywood, like saif said at the end of the movie. That war very funny. Anil was really funny. Sameera reddy was a good secretery and very funny with her dumb questions. Race worth the 2 & 1/2 hrs and your money. so watch it. It is really recommended.

Race, the latest venture of Bollywood's Men in White, Abbas-Mustan, had a dull first half and a better second half. It started with a lovely aerial view of the picturesque Durban city. The characters were introduced and the movie continued with a number of twists. Some of them were really worthy. The one thrilled me most was the way Katrina's negative shade introduced. I was bit surprised to see Katrina in this role. It was difficult to think a sweet, sexy lady like Katrina in this role. It was really a masterstroke. But some of the major twists were really unrealistic. The realisation of Saif about his younger brother's plan in the hospital could be shown in far more realistic way. Again, Akshaye didn't trust Bipasha. So, he should keep eye on her to see if she was playing double cross with him. Moreover, Akshaye's presence in the marriage register office and making love with Katrina before receiving the money of the insurance ware also difficult to digest. The diector duo were smart, but not inelligent. The film would suffer due to its vulnerable script. Moreover, the songs introduced didn't go wth the mood of the film. They were aweful and frustrating. On the whole, Abbas-Mustan failed to thrill again.

no words to describe sucha majestic thriller..film is al abt suspicion and suspence...absolute 5 out of 5 fr direction stunts..script screen play..its pity of those who gave 0.5 1 2 and 3 ratings to this mvi...as good as jhonny gaddar...second half is ultimate..akshaye is at his best..at his peak in his career...saif ok katrina is huge gud bipasha too as usual gud....abba smustan did a grt job i feel...its 100% worth..i got 60 rs ticket black in 150 rs..but its worth i say..damn gud mvi..

Saif Ali Khan did a fantastic job, but was matched step-by-step by Akshaye Khanna....both the girls were too good too...
