According to me it is an awesome movie. It comprises of emotions as well as some comedy. It may not be like DDLJ and Mohabattein but still it is good movie. I think it is one of the best movie of 2008. SRK was superb as always, Vinay Pathak was also good and Anushka Sharma alaso did a fair job. Atlast I think it is a good movie and everybody should go and see it.

I dont understand why critics and some people are being so negative about this film, I thought it was a perfect simple love story and I think its biggest USP for me was that it wasnt a DDLJ or a Mohabbatein. I disliked VeerZaara because it had elements of DDLJ, but not RNBDJ. Rab Ne was a bautiful film, and told in the most unique way. Aditya Chopra has a fantastic mind, for writing a gripping script and executing it in the most effective way. The best thing about Rab Ne was that the dilemma the male lead was going through, the fact that his wife may actually be in love with some one else who isn't the true personification of himself. It's a fear that many men secretly have, but not many voice it. What an idea to make her fall in love with a guy who is just an illusion, who helped her fall in love again, who helped her understand true love, only so that she can finally fall for her husband. It wasn't about INVOKING RAB in your spouse, it was whether you're as devoted to your spouse as one is to Rab. It was about having faith in Rab to tie them in a bond which was as pure as a man's bond to his creator. Technically, the film was a top notch, editing sequences for the songs and scenes were awe-inspiring, music was melodious and classical, yet foot tapping and memorable. Choreography was average, but suited the songs, Haule Haule was executed with great care, as well as Phir milenge chalte chalte. Visualization was perfect, costume designing fitted the script, Vinay Pathak was creatively dressed and Raj's character was rightly over dressed. Dialogues were tense and gripping, SRK's three monologues were indigenious.
