This is a fantastic movie. Mani is a master for giving such a different perspective to the Ramayan. A sincere request to those reading this-DO NOT BELIEVE the bad reviews you read. Also for those who have not watched the movie, go with your brains, coz this is not a mindless entertainer. You have to think and carefully listen to every dialogue and watch every expression. When you are out of the movie the first reaction will be what was that about?? Then you start thinking and things start making sense. Do not go expecting a Love story, this is not a love story in the conventional sense anyway. It is a story of discovery for Ragini and the viewer. You have to see this movie thro' the eyes of Ragini. For all those who said that Abhi cannot act, Boo to you. He has portrayed Beera very efficiently. Beera is no Raavan, that is the perception. Abhi as Beera is the heartbeat of the film. Never once do your eyes leave his face. There are flaws, hey nothing is perfect in this world, I dare anyone here to show me a perfect film. Way better than most movies. This movie is for a niche audience. It is like an indie movie.
