'My Name Is Khan' has Karan Johar, Shahrukh, Kajol & Shankar-Eshaan-Loy, together. It can't get bigger can it? Your bound to expect asotunding songs, but doesn't happen here... mainly because 'Khan' is on a journey to prove himself, not dance around. Sajdaa has a good feel do it, while Tere Naina is the best song of the album. Noor E Khuda bores. Others are in sync with the film. If you really want to a buy a copy like I did, just do it for the star-names mentioned above.

My Name Is Khan...Big film, SRK & Kajol back together after a long time after many special apperance from Kajol mainly. Now I thought the composers & lyricist for the film are Shanker-Eshaan-Loy & Javed Akhtar respectively...I got 1 half right! the other is that it's not Javed Akhtar writing the lyrics, it's a newcomer called Niranjer Iyenger! For his first film as a lyricist...it is a big task for a very big film coming out this year! 1. Sajda- Lovely song! Very soothing & brings Rahat Fateh Ali Khan & Richa Sharma back together after Jag Soona Soona Lage from Om Shanti Om. Shanker Mahadevan adds support to the song! but a very lovely song all round! 2. Noor-E-Khuda- Shanker Mahadevan, Adnan Sami & Shreya Ghoshal are amazing in the song...very soothing! 3. Tere Naina- My word this starts off lovely and carries all the way through Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan is back! (Of course last sung "Mitwa" for Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna- Karan Johar's last film). It again is a very very lovely song! 4. Allah Hi Reham-Ah we come to a situational moment! Ustad Rashid Khan sings this situational song which is not bad but it's strictly situational! 5. Khan Theme- Good Theme for the film! 6. Rang De- We end in a soft rock song with Shanker Mahadevan & Suraj Jaggan! It's a good travel music but it's a good way to end the album! Overall My Name Is Khan at first you may not get grip of the songs but the more times you hear it the more you want to listen! All the songs are kooly (though the situational Allah Hi Reham is ok)...Add it to your collection! 4/5
