TUM MILE Only in terms of music arrangement, this song reminds of Anu Malik style in the 90’s. Therefore, it shows that it is child’s play for HR to cover bases of other composers while the rest cannot even think to create his typical unique Indian melody or sufi-rock singing style (with twists-n-turns). However, in this song that is very unlike HR, there are still traces of pre-ABA style. The song begins with very likeable string based instrument followed bazz guitar and underlying beats. Jayesh’s feel good croons are likeable as usual. The line JAANE MERE DIL KO is very much pre-ABA HR styled. The 4 time string tune from 1.00 to 1.04, 1.16 to 1.19 is also feel good. Between mukhda and 1st stanza, a wicked sound along with pleasant mouth organ along with Jayesh’s subtle croons give a feel good effect. 1st stanza Soothing subtle vocals by KK. The HIGHLIGHT is the string instrument pattern from 2.33 to 2.35 that HR has used countless times in his pre-ABA songs. Between 1st and 2nd stanza, the lovely string tune creates a wonderful effect. 2nd stanza HR’s asks sunithi to sing in her unusual self style. Again it is very feel good melody. The ALTO lines from 3.56 to 4.10 strike a chord and display versatility of Sunithi as a singer too, especially the words NA THAME, JAANE MERE DIL KO. The song finishes with feel good mouth organ. Highlights of this song: 1. KK’s and Sunithi’s soothing and subtle vocals (very unlike them by default setting as KK is sharp and Sunithi is penetrating) 2. The feel good mouth piece, string tune and Jayesh’s tamed down vocals also very unlike himself. 3. The line JAANE MERE DILKO which is very much pre-ABA HR styled. The good thing about this song is firstly a new style of melody is always welcome and the old traces of HR – the composer are also welcome, and this song has both of these elements whereby HR was mostly giving sufi-rock compositions. The real HIGHLIGHT is string instrument pattern from 2.33 to 2.55 and I say this because it was similar in term of idea and pattern to CHURA LIYA HAI TUMNE TITLE SONG (pre-ABA) from1.28 to 1.29, 4.30 to 4.31.

my name is anthony gonsalves, the new affair of pritam is not the type he is been giving his these years.its melody is repeated & its songs are not new.though 1 or 2 songs leave an impact
but for the rest its pritams not uptodate work
till now.overall its an album which will leave
a negative mark on pritam's career.

i really didnt have anything to say, apart from the fact that I am not happy the way IndiaFM gave the credit for the music of My Name is Anthony Gonsalves, to Pritam.... I agree that he is talented, but he did NOT compose the song Tum Mile!!! It was Himesh's guest composition!!! Yes, a surprise compostion, that actually nobody knows, and that is sad... if you think I'm mad, here's a proof, listen to the "Yeeaaah" in the beginning, do you recognize the voice? Yes, it's Jayesh Gandhi, the alaap master in most Himesh songs. And the story behind this song, it's that during the composition of Kyun Ki's title track (starring Salman, Kareena, Jacky Shroff,...), he had composed another tune but with harmonica and guitar base, like for "Kyun Ki Itna Pyar Tumko..." Here's where I read the news: https://himesh-reshammiya.com/blog/2007/12/25/music-review-my-name-is/ Please take action! Do give credit at least this time, after you guys really criticised his music in Welcome...
