Great music and songs with Gulzar as lyricist and Shankar Ehsan Loy trio as Music Director.This one gem out of the whole bunch stands out for lot many reasons. First, the marriage song, where the daughter bids adieu to her family on marriage, has been sung on lounge style, a far cry from the traditional " Baabul ki Duayein"( not undermining its authority on its own) or for that matter the immortal " Baabul Mora Naihar Choota Jayein". It is a refreshing change, and sung soulfully by Shankar Mahadevan and Mame Khan. The weaving of magic around the music in the movie would unravel interestingly, I am sure, with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra at the helm. After a long gap an album I could hear back to back. Good music. The movie has lot to offer to film buffs. A stellar cast with Harshvardhan Kapoor, looks great in the snippets, in the eponymous role. The movie sort of kindles the romantic element in a being. It does to me for sure. So, enjoy the track.
