This movie really didn't work, because it has no decent plot. It was really boring and not exciting…  

This movie really didn't work, because it has no decent plot. It was really boring and not exciting at all. the action could have been so much better. May I am biased because I had seen Jaane Tu a day before Lovestory, and Jaane Tu really entertained me, but anyway with all the hype surrounding Lovestory and Harman, both the movie and Harman failed to justify that hype. The producers of Lovestory 2050 have relied too much in the special effects of the movie and in the dancign skills of Harman. If you have seen movie like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and other foreign sci-fi movies, you know that the special effects in Lovestory 2050 are not that spectacular, they are just ok. And a movie doesn't work beacuse someone can dance really good, I have to admit that Harman is a great dancer. And as far as acting goes, I think Harman was just OK, I didn't see anything special in his acting, at some places I thought he was overacting. Priyanka did a good job, Boman Irani was passable, Archana was funny, and the kids didn't know how to act.

O.k. so there's a lot of speculation about the plot, but since when have people started looking at the plot? If a movie like Om Shanti Om can become a huge hit then why trash Love Story? I'm not defending it because frankly i found a lot of this movie ridiculous BUT there is something really sweet about it, something that keeps you attracted to it. This is one of those movies that depend on the person. Personally I'm a very sappy and mushy movie liker and so this movie suited me well; the whole point of this movie is that it talks about a guy who loves someone so much that he is willing to go in a time he knows nothing about and find her amongst so many people. Luckily and very conveniently she's a huge star and so finding her isn't much of a problem. Speaking of the Harman-Priyanka chemistry, I personally found it really believable and they were good together. Harman was good for a new comer and Priyanka was amazing;finally we got to see her in a proper role and she got the amount of scope she deserves unlike in her other films (i.e. Krrish). I actually like the songs much better now after seeing the movie, they were very nicely picturised; Harman and Priyanka can both dance equally well. Back to acting, Boman Irani was alright but the kids were wasted. Archana was good as well. The special effects were really amazing and so were the robot characters. All in all a pretty entertaining film, just don't go expecting something very realistic. It all worked pretty well though. And another thing, Priyanka looks really good in this movie.. I though i might just add that in.

According 2 me, d movie love story 2050 is a waste of time, talent and money. There was no story, no chemistry-physics whatevr b/w harman and priyanka. They nvr seem 2 b in luv. Concept was gud bt direction was very bad. Music is also nt gud enuff. Harman acts really bad nd priyanka worse.Death scene of priyanka aftr accident is not gud nd lifting. QT nd boo were so artificial...

Here is the case, whether u are listening to other people and then watching the movie or watching because you want to!!! According to me, fantastic movie. Yes story was littel weak, but not all stories are strong; however I want to tell u that the movie has fantastic visualization (digital effects). Acting done by both actor and actress is great. I love priyanka...she looks cute :). Lot of people gave like .5 and of course they are right in their opinion but you should watch it once at least because this is going to be india's first most digitalized movie ever...awesome awesome...also this movie is like western movies (science fictions) so If you are looking for somthing like this go for it.

One "BIG MISTAKE" by the makers of LS2050 was it to release it with JTYJN. Comparisions are invietable, and it loses big time. May be it would have done better if JTYJN had not been released the same day. Overall a very average film. Definately disappointing. Harman is a poor copy of Hritik Roshan.

I knew this movie was going to suck since Baweja is a horrible film maker. However, I never expected such a bad script from someone who is spending so much money on a film. Seriously, my two baby cousins can think of a better story and screenplay from just watching Disney movies. I am still shocked to see that the Bawejas were satisfied with a story which has no feelings and doesn't catch anyone's interest. What's worse are the dialogues. Damn, they are soooo baaad!!! The direction is even worse, and so is the acting. However, this is all the result of the lack of script.

Love Story 2050 is 2008 biggest disappointing movie. Total BAKWAAS the draw back of the hero is trying to copy HR. Special effects are great. Wise decision by Kareena Kapoor left the movie.

It is a very good attempt in a new direction.Kudos to the bravery of everybody involved in the movie.Specially the 2 leading actors(Harman $ Priyanka) and the director(Harry)have shown great courage at attempting something different which has never been seen in Bollywood movies.
