Karan Johar really knows how to make a good film, his story is very different & no its not like New York. Rensil D'Silva's direction is really good...the background score &music by Salim-Suleman is excellent.*esp Shukran Allah, Rasiya & Ali Maula. Aki Narula's styling is exceptional...Kareena's skirts with the scarves are bound to make a style statement..Saif is fantastic...and Kareena pithches a good performance. Vivek Oberoi is SUPERB...Kiron Kher is good but her accent is wierd. Om puri once again proves that he knows his craft. Diya Mirza & Nauheed Cyrusi suit their characters. Kulbhushan Kharbanda is good but has a very small role.

I've not seen the movie yet, but those who not not seen the movie yet like me certainly has to think about the box office collection and those living in Bangalore get a gyan about this as Urvashi Cinema, a popular & one of the single theaters here which is in the heart of the city has replaced the movie on the 4th day and is screen back 2012 on a 4 shows/day basis. Well now you know whether to go for it or not, I think i'll watch this movie on DVD this weekend. Regards,

Kurbaan is a wonderful movie in the respect that its message is not conveyed directly. I t is conveyed indirectly and this is something everyone should understand before going to watch the movie. Karan Johar and Rensil are not conveying any direct, controversial message, but are looking at a topic everyone is familiar with, in a different light. The story, direction and music of the film are wonderful and the music matches the film’s theme and feeling completely. There are not any over done scenes or any long periods of dragging. Acting is the one big thing that stands out. Kareena gives a wonderful performance and proves that she is not just a beautiful face and shows diversity in her acting skills yet again. Saif is once again great and controlled as seen in Love Aaj Kal. Vivek is outstanding and gives the performance of his career. It is about time we start to give more than just the biggies in the industry credit for good acting. He is a wonderful actor and shows us why in this film. Everyone acts great and the movie really moves you and makes you think. It is about time that people open their minds to all genres of movies and keep an open mind because you just might like what you see.
