It could have been a timeless classing given the canvas,the cast and crew, and the potential of the story, but I was disappointed. It wasn't terrible, but not as good as a movie of that level should be. My main issue with Kites was the treatment of the villains. I felt like everyone was so caught up in the love story they forgot to give credibility to the villains and give them a proper culmination. That was an issue because villains play a huge role in the love story. That new guy who plays the villain is very difficult to take seriously. Also I wasn't a big fan of Kangna coming out of nowhere in the end. Overall Hrithik is AMAZING and so is Barbara,and the movie does have some great moments,but overall not as good as I expected. Also the leading tabloid got the ending fairly right!
