I would rather begin the review explaining what actually was expected...
no one expected melodious rhythms or classical music from Khiladi 786..its a mass masala movie..so the music had to be MASSY.
Coming 1st to LONELY..which i must say is a very good opener..a fine rap..accompanied by a fun yet engaging SATIRICAL singing and a nostalgic rhythm...’teri yaad saath hai’ is brought up at the right moment...Himesh is fine though the show masters being Honey singh and Hamsika..
BALMA on the other hand is a fitting tribute to R.D.Burman sir..MEHBOOBA o MEHBOOBA beats in the beginning followed by rather fine beats to complete the song...Sriram and Shreya must b complimented on this one.
LONG DRIVE is a winner fr me... gr8 track.. wud be all over parties and Discs throughout...energetic Mika’s voice complement fabulous music..Kudos to dis one..credits to reshammiya
SARI SARI RAAT...well its a really melodious track..can be explained in just two lines..
"the VOICE is STRICTLY fr HIMESH’s fans ..
the MUSIC on the other hand is even for A.R.REHMAN’s Fans."
HOOKAH BAR is another upbeat and high tempo track which will eventually find its places in the charts...fine enough track...gud music again
KHILADI BHAIYYA is one such track which actually can be said as a title track fr all KHILADI series...it has good strong BEATS accompanied by sweet voice of Vineet...though i feel someone with a more weighty voice like Sukhwinder Singh could have been more suited...yet its a Strong occasional track..a track that explains more about the story...Lyrics cud have been better though..
TU HOOR PARI is really a weak track..might be ocaasional..cant really say unless video comes up..great work by Shreya and Chandrakala Singh..Javed Ali is not used to his potential...
REMIXES are all good except the title track...that can b Skipped...
ALL IN ALL...THE MUSIC IS SATISFACTORY... ITS EVERYTHING THAT COULD HAVE BEEN EXPECTED AND EVEN MORE...YOU RARELY SEE 7 ORIGINAL TRACKS IN A MOVIE THESE DAYS...
