Although lot of people thought that it's a copy of the Hollywood movie Next, I'd like to differ. You cannot compare Hollywood with Bollywood, not that the one is better than the other, but they have their own style. However, I thought KKD was a good movie, it's a movie you can watch to pass time. If you like more serious and deep movies...this is NOT for you. It's a simple story but the characters, actors and actresses are chosen very well. They all acted pretty good and made the movie quite interesting. You kept guessing what will happen next, despite the fact that you'll exactly know what will happen in the end since it is and always will be a Bollywood masala movie. It's got just about enough romance for BW, especially in the first part. Then it turns into a comedy-action-"thriller" kind of thing. Thriller in the sense, that you don't know what's next but you pretty much can guess the ending.
Most of the songs are very modern, which I liked ,but I thought some were unnecessary. You don't listen carefully in the beginning but as the song goes on it starts playing in your head until the next song comes. It's worth a watch if you have nothing to do, also it's more of a home movie (which you rent, buy etc.) because I don't really think it would make a great difference if you'd watch it in the cinema.
