Jab We Met is a film which without any second thought goes directly to anybody's "must watch movie before dying" list. It's so finely done.. the actors-Kareena was at her best & so was Shahid- the songs, the script..everything! Imtiaz Ali has truly done a fantastic job. TWO THUMBS UP!

The magic of Shahid-Kareena movies is that they get bad revies, but do well at the BO!!! A wholly deserved Filmfare for Kareena and Shahid was truly instrumental in Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met.
This movie revolves around a man, Aditya Kashyap(Shahid Kapoor) who wants to flee Mumbai as his dad, owner of a huge company has died and his mother doesn't wanna let Aditya to have that company. On the train he meets Geet Dhillon(Kareena Kapoor) who is a talkative, feisty Punjabi Sikhdi who wants to elope with her BF Anchuman(Tarun Arora). He thinks she is a total pain and wants to get rid of her. But he slowly starts to like Geet and tries to help her to marry her BF(Weird eh?). Then, he helps her flee home to p marry this Anchuman,but he doesn't wanna marry her!! Weird again! Then they split ways(Aditya and Geet). All of a sudden Aditya is successful and Geet is down in the dumps teaching in boarding school.
Suddenly, Aditya comes there and forces Geet to go with him to her house. Then Anchuman calls and says he wants to marry her and they all go to Her house. The people tthink Aditya will marry Geet and that Anchuman is a friend of Aditya. She soon realises Aditya is whom she loves and the film ends with their wedding.

A very nice, soft, heart-warming love story that shows two different characters can fall in love ! Shahid's was really really awsome & nice in the 1st half & in the 2nd half he became really funny & comic, he proved that he can perform many characters, i really liked him !
Kareena was also nice & funny, i really loved her in this movie, & the climax she handled it well done!

Jab We Met is a new fantastic, funny & realistic film. I think the character design fitted both Shahid & Kareena, this is the first time i feel so proud of Shahid (not that I'm following up on his movies) but i think this is his second superb performance after FIDA (Shahid is a good actor but only if he get a good role). The story is just so unique, so new and deep (i was chocking from the scene where Aditya is doing his best in work by remembering Geet until he finds her miserable with her life).
I think the main focus was on the story rather on the style or the songs & that's what made the film a Hit!
I just want to say thanx for the director, cast & all who worked on this film for their astonishing work of art.
