HIMMATWALA, the most awaited movie of the year, is a huge letdown in the name of ENTERTAINMENT. Sajid promised to provide entertainment, entertainment and entertainment but in the end he has delivered a senseless spoof. I have watched his movies like Heyy Babyy and Housefull series, even though these movies had no substance but it was quite enough to provide entertainment, but his new outing HIMMATWALA has neither substance nor provides entertainment! Ajay Devgn's performance is strictly okay. Tammanah has no scope. Mahesh Manjrekar's acting is the worst in his entire career. I have given this movie an extra half star for Paresh Rawal, for his performance and comic timings and yes not to forget there is a tiger too where it appears twice on the screen. The drama, action sequences etc are below average. The movie's biggest USP is its A-list actors and the promises and overconfidence of Sajid which has created hype all over the masses. Initially HIMMATWALA may do good business but I am sure audience(even masses) won't find it watching it twice or thrice. On the whole, HIMMATWALA is a total waste in the name of logic and entertainment with average performances and below the mark direction. One has to have "himmat" to watch this spoof. HUGELY DISAPPOINTED!!!
