I must say that the SPARK of MB film - JALWA of FASHION was missing in Heroine. The mismanaged plots, disturbed story line, bad screen play added to the disaster.This movie had THE character but lacked THE substance. Casts didnt really suit the role.This movie lacked good scripting.People who are expecting Some BIG Reality based Madhur Bhandarkar movie (like Page 3, Fashion etc) will never get fully convinced with this venture.

undoubtedly one of the weakest work of Madhur Bhandarkar.the film has it qown very good moments but the film's pace drop's then and now.after a very good scene there will be a not so important scene.Kareena has done a good job but still nothing unique in her performance apart from some sequences.this is kareena's Dirty picture but still she fails to reach that particular level.music is strictly average.direction is normal and this is not expected from Madhur Bhandrkar.this film comes nowhere close to his earlier films.overall a one time watch just for National Award Winning director's decent attempt.
