I wish i can give this film a big zero if IMDb allowed me to and if they had the option. Let me briefly tell you what this film is all about and you tell me if this film is good. Its about Salman Khan who sits down in a lounge after doing a concert and suddenly Katrina comes in. She mysteriously sits next to him and turns her laptop in. As usual Salman will try and flirt with her, and she decides to tell him a story. The story is about these 4 or 5 guys who work at a call centre. They all have some very minor every day problems in their life's. The films starts getting very slow and boring. Next thing you know you closed your eyes and then you open them and its almost 2 hours gone in the film. You see them in a car about to fall. They think they will die, but they receive a phone call that is apparently from god. God tells them that they should be grateful to be living. This is reminding me of a Hollywood film Saw, where Jigsaw killer does a similar thing. Anyway suddenly they start changing their lives all because of the phone call. Next thing a sleepy bored looking Salman Khan tells Katrina, who is she and Katrina does not answer. She disappears and guess what, Salman's bodyguards didn't see any girl. She was probably god, what the hell is this garbage. Anyway Sohail and Sharman are usually funny and try their best but still were poor. All other girls gave a disgraceful performance. Amrita's was playing a humble wife was a bore to watch. Anyway this film is a poor poor poor poor poor show all the way.

Hello, can be described in one word: boring, it just doesn't hook the viewer at all, the storyline and screenplay are both unimpressive and the only things that were good in the movie were the performances of Sharman Joshi and Sohail Khan, all the songs are bad except for the 'Karle Baby Dance Wance' song which is actually quite catchy. Overall Hello, is a boring movie that isn't worth your money. Not reccomended.

Its boring. I like Salman Khan very much but I must agree its very boring. All the show I was waiting when will the call come, and at last it comes, before that they just showed the troubles. 4/5 part just was showing the problems. Its nothing special. Bu the way, those who gave more than 4 in the review just saw the song "Bang Bang" ... nothing else.

Boring movie, which is based on a book called “One Night at the Call Center†and which was very popular in India. The story is simply non-inspiring, and the only advantage of the whole movie is the remix version of the song “Helloâ€.

HELLO, i dont know what ATUL was having in his mind when begun this movie. It's a piece of crap, come on, in today's time we can't bear all this SHIT anymore. And i don't know why Salman Khan was so prominent in the promos and posters when he is having hardly a footage of 10 minutes including the promotional Song. Katrina Kaif is hardly there for 3-4 minutes. Come on, you are showing something to the audience that it. For me, it was nothing but a piece of SHIT.

When I heard they were a making a movie on the book "One Night at the Call Centre", I knew I had to watch this movie. Come on, isn't it about time our Bollywood looked other than foreign movies for inspiration? Moreover, it is one of my fav books.Honestly, I had mixed expectations from the movie. On one hand Atul Agnihotri ( A not so great director with acting skills best left unsaid)was on the helm of things and on the other hand the screenplay and dialogues were being written by Chetan Bhagat( the author of the original book). Hello... is a tale about the events that happen one night at a call center. Told through the views of the protagonist, Shyam, it is a story of almost lost love, thwarted ambitions, absence of family affection, pressures of a patriarchal set up, and the work environment of a globalized office.Shyam is losing his girl friend because his career is going nowhere as he trudges his way around in a call center. His girl friend, Priyanka, is also an agent like him at the call canter who is about to be snatched by an NRI techno geek. There is also the aspiring model, Esha, who is hopping for the break that seems to be always already eluding her and the man about town, Vroom, who is into well, things. The housewife, Radhika, who is constantly at the receiving end of her mother-in-law and a beleaguered grandfather, Military Uncle, who has been barred from interacting with his grandchild make up the rest of the call agents who see their worlds crumbling around them as the decisions of right sizing are conveyed by Bakshi, the boss.It is a night when dreams will finally crumble. Or will it? For there is that call from God. Narrated as a tale within a tale as a beautiful woman meets the auteur narrator and promises him a story on the condition that he has to narrate it further. And boy did the movie disappoint. In fact, it sucks from first 10 minutes itself. The way Salman and Katrina interact makes you wonder ‘yeh kya ho raha hai?’.The whole thing seems so farce and forced. And that’s the problem, often things seem so in the movie. Hardly anything seemed real or you could relate with(one of the main plus points of the book). The problem seemed in both direction and writing.(I expected better from Mr.Bhagat) In fact there are one corny dialogues after the other. Just check this – When Priyanka reveals her marriage plans and Shyam walks away disappointed, Esha exclaims “Great news.â€.To which Vroom responds “Great news aur breaking news mein fark hota hai.â€Man! When Katrina switches on her laptop, Sallu asks( without checking the laptop)â€You are checking your mails, huh?â€(err … is that the only purpose people use their laptops for?)She looks up,smiles and after few seconds says â€emailsâ€(Wow, the most intelligent answer I have ever heard). The movies gets better in the latter portions as the story catches up and things begin to happen. But still direction leaves a lot desired in these parts too. Quite a few scenes could have been handle better. Shyam’s evil conscience, revealing boss’ real plans, Esha takling about her life, etc either don’t convince or seem too sudden. Comong to performances, Sohail,Sharmaan and Esha do a decent job. Gul doesn’t convince and could have given a little more life in her potrayal(or maybe it was just bad direction). And seriously I cant believe anyone actually thought of Amrita as an ideal Indian bahu. The sets with red and orange walls look quite out of place. This movie is a perfect example of a good story handled amatuerishly.

hello, the new venture of atul agnihotri is a good concept gone haywire.it tries to convey a noble message but the movie suffers due to bad screenplay.the story is very good but the story telling is very bad.the screenplay is very rubb -ish.the screenplay should have been more improved.the dialouges are okay.the direction is good.the music is okay.salman khan is natural in his role.katrina kaif looks very pretty and it reflects in her role.the best among the six are sharman joshi.the actor carries off his role with comfort and ease.next is sohail khan, who is now regaining right roles.good performance.sharat saxena is alright.amrita arora tends to go over the top.gul panag is the best among girls.esha koppikar tries to do her best and she succeds to an extent.dalip tahil is wasted.suresh menon is funny.arbaaz khan is wasted.overall hello is a weak film in merits but commences in story and performances.

It is an alright movie. You expect something and you get something else. The phone call from god barely made a difference. Salman and katrina were barely in the movie, and the rest of the star cast did an amazing job playing the roles. The script is a little above average but this movie will be average.
