this film is creating controversy from the adaptation of the novel ONE NIGHT AT THE CALL CENTER but believe me it does not have nothing to entertain the audiences except the song BANG BANG by SALMAN without any shirt and it is becoming regular to see SALMAN without shirt but it cannot help the film to run at the box office and the all songs of this film is very boring and it doesnot create any impression at all after hearing them and also SALMAN is in the guest appearance and KATRINA KAIF too.It will be the another box office disaster of SALMAN after GOD TUSSI GREAT HO.The story is very weak and it does not have nothing to entertain the audiences . So give it a miss then you can save your money from wasting it on this kind of flop film.

ALL CHARACTERS ARE LOOKING PATHETIC AS THE CALL CENTER EMPLOYEES MAINLY SOHAIL,SHARAT,GUL PANANG,ISHA, except SHARMAN JOSHI & AMRITA ARORA as they are looking fit in the roles of call center employees. SHARAT SAXENA who is a very old man how can he be suited in the role of call center employees.PATHETIC AT ALL . And remember everyone all controversial movies are mostly flops as they have nothing in its contents except controversy.

Chetan Bhagat Bhai...Im sure you never knew this was coming...The total debasement of what was at least an ok book. I guess you should have waited for Rajkumar Hirani to make a movie on five point someone first.

This movie is a dud...a turkey and a wannabe film all in one go.

The movie features Sohail Khan, Sharman Joshi, Isha Koppikar, Amrita Arora, Gul Panag,Dalip Tahil and Sharat Saxena in key roles with Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Katrina Kaif in special appearances.

My first bone of contention...Besides maybe Sharman Joshi and Sharat Saxena...Everybody is miscast. Imagine Sohail,Isha, Amrita and Gul as early 20 somethings working in a call centre. The movie does not follow the book in its entirety. To begin with Salman Khan is a rockstar and fills in for Chetan Bhagats part in the novel.BTW he goes shirtless in the opening number.Going by the promos and trailers I though Salman had a big role in the film instead of a cameo...enuff said... Katrina plays God...ha ha...well at least she looks good.

Hello revolves around six call center representatives/agents, Shyam (Sharman Joshi), Priyanka (Gul Panag), Esha (Isha Koppikar), Varun (Sohail Khan), Radhika (Amrita Arora) and Military Uncle (Sharat Saxena). There are two things common among these agent friends, one is that they work for the same call center and the other is, all their lives are screwed up in their own respective ways.

Add to all this the boss from Hell played by Dalip Tahil. The boss who will take credit for his subordinates work and will go all out to screw their happiness.Tahil unfortunately comes across as a buffon and is unintentionally funny. The solution to their woes....a call from GOD! Sharman as the main character Shyam who is a loser who is also about to loose his love (Gul) in marriage to an NRI is excellent.Sohail has a lot of cool dialouges too and does some justice to his part.Gul is absolutely wooden.Isha looks weird. She plays the role of an aspiring model who works in a callcentre as a stopgap.Ps.Note to Isha...please change your dress designer...you look awful partly due to those whacked out silly clothes you’ve been made to wear.Surprisingly Amrita Arora has worn proper clothes (as in is fully dressed) in the movie and has shown some promise in the acting department.Sharat Saxena does a competent job of the ex-service guy who now works in a call centre.

The screenplay is half baked...the direction is tacky...Atul Agnihotri the director should have stuck to acting...oh wait he couldnt really act either.

This film is a sure shot looser at the BO with no chances what so ever.

If you have an option of seeing the movie or staring at a blank wall for 3 hours take the second option.

Hello was based on a Novel by a novelist who is 3 novels old and is now pretty acclaimed in his own rights. The movie will in all likelihood be seen by a lot of people who have not read the book. So the film makers cannot make a movie and say if we’ve missed some thing, read the book. It doesn’t work that way.

The movie could not have cost a lot to make as most actors are not established. Except Salman, who was kind enough to rope in his brothers (Arbaaz and Sohel) and their in laws (Amrita). Also a small set was required to show a call center floor with only six tables spaciously spread to cover the space. Very few people watch un-researched badly thought out movies.. But no mater how few people watch this one, Hello will cover its costs.

Obviously the makers did not want to spend money on unessential things like an expert on the functioning of a call center. Also one scene that requires an international call center crowd the makers saved by getting extras that looked like domestic call center employees. (in case I need to specify, these are two different breeds and look and talk differently)

There was only one process in the call center, and all worked for Tech support (established when they all agreed to con the customers). Also it was established that the call centre had thousands of employees (Daleep Tahil was willing to fire 1000-2000 of them). Why were we looking at a floor with only 6 tables and 6 employees? Savings for the makers here? Also the transport picks not area wise but team wise instead. The makers go on to make more mistakes. A Temp supervisor reports directly to the process owner! Number of jobs at stake is 1000 in one scene and 500 in another. People are shown taking calls during downtime. After reporting to work at 10.30p.m., by midnight Sohel is shown taking his second break.

In the climax they come up with a plan to increase volume by conning customers. Dude that is suicidal will get everybody fired. Some characters in the movie (Suresh Menon as the singing tech guy and the hero’s temp girlfriend} were unnecessary sources of irritation and subtracted value from the movie and should have been edited out before the final print was okayed. God calls on the phone and in the speaker phone sounds like Aakashwani from the skies (If you want to argue that this was God I say he did not need that phone). Call centre jokes revolve only around turning power on or off..

A narrative tale needs to keep sucking the audiences in. Here there was no charm in the way Katrina narrated the story and did not suck you in.. Rather it was a test of patience. After gods message, the follow up action should have been dynamic, super charged and intense. Instead was lackluster and just about executed.

HELLO is movie you would surely want to say BYE BYE. Its a total waste of time and torture for your brain. Its got a bad screenplay, bad direction and the actors have done a pretty sad job themselves. The cinema hall was almost empty. I and my friends were the few unlucky ones. I beg my fellow human beings to not suffer the way I did. Please stay away from the theatres. Its a real low budget movie, with the whole shooting done in a single room. Salman khan and katrina’s special appearance too can’t save this movie. Atul Agnihotri used everyone in his family for the casting. Salman, arbaz, sohail, amrita arora, everyone is in the movie. So, the producer wouldn’t have lost much money. The movie goes into my list of all time FLOP movies. Sohail khan’s talent was not used even to a bit. Writing 150 words about this movie is getting difficult. PLEASE DON’T WATCH this movie.

This movie has been made very nicely. They have considered all the part of the book. Some extra comic scene have been added, which are great. There are three songs out of which 2 are superb. The charecters of book are brought alive nicely specially VROOM. But the critics review is shocking, I think critics must first read the book if they have not read it and then give the points. Anyway guys its a nice film and don't go what critics says its their job.

i felt slightly disappointed with the reviews i read about the movie. my review is totally contradictory. i loved the movie. it is one of those movies which closely follows the script of the novel. i read a lot and basically get cheesed off when movies are adapted from novels because they do no justice to the book. but this movie does full justice. even more so there are few characters which have been slightly lifted and they look much better on screen than they did in the novel... the story as in the novel has already been a-credited with being an international best seller. the movie being so close to novel speaks for itself. there has been a low turn out for the movie; maybe because a lot of recently released movies have failed to meet expectations. this movie should do good business through word of mouth publicity. i don't want to dwell on the story line because i feel one should watch it for sure. and it kills the essence of the movie when one hears the story first. the story line is very simple and best liked when watched first hand... it may sound lil boring while being heard....when i had heard the story (for the novel) i had declined to read it. the only reason why i did read the novel was because his first and third novel were fabulous so it did make me read the second one just for the sake of completing the author... sometimes the experience has to be first hand to be enjoyed... i would say the movie is a must watch
