Gunday: Two great friends Bikram and Bala enters in India with the desire of becoming the richest people of the 70’s. It is the same old story, which has been attempted many times in Bollywood. Audiences will be surprised watching protagonists wearing 2014 clothing collection for the movie set in 1970. The life of Young Bikram and Bala during the partition and the climax has been directed beautifully but when it comes to overall movie experience it fails! Darshan Gujar as young Bikram and Jayesh Kardak as young Bala are highlight of the movie. There was something missing between the chemistry of Ranveer Sing as Bikram and Arjun Kapoor as Bala. The role of Priyanka Chopra as Nandita did not have much scope to showcase her talent ability. Saurabh Shukla as Bikram and Bala’s lawyer has small but yet effective role in the movie. Irrfan Khan as Police Officer is disappointing. Overall Gunday is one time watch experience with 2.75 stars.
