Ok 4.5 is highly exaggerated...I liked when u gave Rab ne 2 stars (Eye bank should ve sponsored tht movie)..But Ghajini has too many loose ends. Aamir is superb, Asin is soo innocent and beautiful, Jiah avoidable, Ghajini himself loathe worthy(therein lies his strength). the basic flaw of the movie is its script. Its 80s masala pot boiler. The goons dont have guns at any point of time (did the director forget this is Mumbai and not TN??) There are tooo many loose ends in the movie. Any1 who has seen Memento will not be convinced. The basic plot is not developed. There is no explanation why does he tatoos stuff, how did he develop his system, where did he gather Ghajinis basic info..Nothing..Memento clicked bcos its spoon fed us and it was highly convincing..Sadly this doesnt..Also too much is taken for granted...Like at the end the scar is gone..He doesnt remember the gory flashes of Kalpana anymore..In the end when Ghajini destroys all his stuff and Jiah comes to his resuce..she tells him everything, takes him to the place and he kills so many goons in 15 min?? I as an audience am not convinced..
Now the plus points...AAmir..U wont be able to take ur eyes off him..He is soo convincing in both the parts..as a suave businessman and as an animal. Due to his attitude and poster perfect body, the action scenes are not too filmy. Asin is a breath of fresh air from size zero figures and I hope she remains the same. She has a stunning screen presence and she stands tall even with Aamir on screen. The love story of the movie is tooooo sweet..U cant help urself but to laugh at and love the love story..
Overall a one time watch for Aamir fans...but I wish the love story was a bit small and the basic plot a bit more..
