Gangs of Wasseypur is a revenge drama with Warring families , Murky Politics and Deadly characters as its main elements ! Anurag Kashyap narrates a very enthralling saga about three generations in Wasseypur ! Gangs of Wasseypur is divided into two parts and and this part mainly concentrates on building up the story for the final culmination in the second part ! The screenplay is engaging and entertaining at places but very ordinary and dull at places ! the first half of Gangs of Wasseypur is decent with some interesting scenes but the movie picks up from the interval point and ends on a high note with a thrilling climax and raised expectation from the second part ! some scenes truly enthrall the viewer ! dialogues are effective ! background score is good ! music is superb with each and every track offering something new ! action is very raw and gritty ! some action scenes truly terrify you ! cinematography is first-rate ! Anurag Kashyap surely is one of the finest director of the hindi film industry and he proves it with Gangs of Wasseypur !

Manoj Bajpayee is riveting as Sardar Khan ! you can see the anger and the revenge in his eyes ! he is also good in the light moments ! truly a superlative performance from the brilliant actor ! Nawazuddin Siddiqui is first-rate and just cant wait to watch him in the second installment ! Piyush Mishra is competent ! His narration is very effective ! Richa Chaddha is excellent ! be it the intense scene or the comic moments , she gives in a superior performance ! Reema Sen is fantastic ! Jaideep Ahlawat makes an impact ! Huma Qureshi is superb ! Tigmanshu Dhulia is brilliant as the main antagonist ! his acting skills are superb ! Pankaj Tripathi is terrfic ! Vineet Singh is superb ! Vipin Sharma is first-rate ! Jameel Khan is excellent !
