The son of Balbir Singh (Kamal Krishna), Vijay (Ganesh) dramatically meets with Rajkumari Nalini (Anjali Devi), the daughter of Kanakpur Naresh Sangram Singh (Bipin Gupta) and both fall in love much to the chagrin of Senapati Veersen (Navvihar) who had hoped to wed her. Sangram, too, is displeased and has Vijay beaten and imprisoned, but with the help of murgi chor, Bahadur (Agha), both escape, find out that Sangram's blindness could be cured with Naagjyoti, and decide to travel to Naaglok. They rescue Nagkanya (Kumari Kamala) from a shape-shifting demon, and with her help locate and enter Naaglok. It is here Naagrani (Vyjayanthimala) and her pretty associate, Naagi (Krishna Kumari) will fall for the two men. Vijay woos her, gets the Naagjyoti but an enraged Naagrani transforms him into an aged and deformed individual.
