Delhi Belly ---- I condemn such kind of cinema....reasons are not oblivious......okay let me count them....what all one talk abt in a film - - 1). Entertainment (cud be hilarious or inspirational)....dialogues full of abusive language can never be hilarious and actions of falling down or running or performing nature's call can never be hilarious....story of daily routine of carefree bachelors in delhi can never be inspirational - - 2). Music, is good to listen but if they are not shot in full then there is no question of picking that value out of the 200 bugs u spend in a multiplex - - 3). Art (Sets, cinematography and characters)....Sets...the story had no scope of showing anything abt sets resembling delhi except an untidy flat in a messy building which is omnipresent, tell me if u haven't seen it in any part of ur city....or does that resemble delhi....delhi 6 & band baaja baraat still managed to market "delhi" better than delhi belly which had only the name in the title to make ppl realize that it is a story based in delhi.........Cinematography....there was no need of camera work as the screenplay was focused more on including "gaali" in every camera shot...... they could have recorded it and presented it to the public.....it had the scope of presenting good action but they missed it completely....u must chk out "shaitaan" a recent flick for cinematographic pleasure.......Characters....not even a single character came out as strong as we could have recalled them for more than an hour.....all the 3 characters had an equal share of frames but they established themselves with only single identity...imraan-serious (without any reason)....Vir Das - Loser(why, dont know ?)...Kunal -(suffering from diarrhea in 90% of his frames)........Acting and Situation could have made this situational comedy good but in that context also the acting was average across all the characters and situation lacked the story telling aspect.......All in All.....Abhinay and Aamir....this is not your style....this is not what you should make.....we do not expect sensible cinema every time from you but the senseless cinema should have at least humor and not just abusive language....Lead by examples like Ready, No Entry, Khichdi.........It is my personal review but the generic review of a traditional or even a contemporary bollywood movie goer would not differ much........Ashish Badkur
