awesome.i didn't expect such an awesome film from parmeet sethi.great story even though there are some films made on this subject but this is made intelligently.everyone compares this film to Bunty Aur Babli but only the concept of conman is same rest all is totally different.this film is for intelligent people.good to see anushka sharma in such a bold,beautiful,bindass and sexy avtaar.shahid has done a very good job.his performance is very mature.chang and vir das were also awesome though they did not get enough plot in the film to prove their talent.bas that's it dont think much just go and watch BADMAASH COMPANY.

कम समय में अधिक पैसा कमाना हो तो बेईमानी का सहारा लेना पड़ता है। तेज दिमाग का दुरुपयोग कर लोगों को बेवकूफ बनाना पड़ता है। इस तरह की बातों पर ‘बदमाश कंपनी’ के अलावा भी कई फिल्मों का निर्माण हुआ है क्योंकि मनोरंजन की इसमें भरपूर गुंजाइश रहती है। ‘बदमाश कंपनी’ की सबसे बड़ी प्रॉब्लम इसकी स्क्रिप्ट है। परमीत सेठी ने इसे अपनी सहूलियत के हिसाब से लिखा है। मन मुताबिक कहानी को ट्‍विस्ट दिए हैं, भले ही वो विश्वसनीय और सही नहीं हो। इससे दर्शक स्क्रीन पर दिखाए जा रहे घटनाक्रमों से जुड़ नहीं पाते। मनोरंजन की दृष्टि से भी देखा जाए तो फिल्म में बोरियत भरे क्षण ज्यादा हैं। कहानी 1990 के आसपास की है जब इम्पोर्टेड वस्तुओं का बड़ा क्रेज था क्योंकि ये आसानी से उपलब्ध नहीं थी। बॉम्बे के चार युवा करण (शाहिद कपूर), बुलबुल (अनुष्का शर्मा), चंदू (वीर दास) और जिंग (मियांग चैंग) मिलकर एक बिजनेस शुरू करते हैं। वे इम्पोर्टेड वस्तुएँ बैंकॉक से लाकर भारत में बेचते हैं। करण अपना दिमाग इस तरह लड़ाता है कि कम समय में वे अमीर हो जाते हैं। सरकारी नीतियों के कारण उन्हें अपना व्यवसाय बंद करना पड़ता है। करण अपने साथियों के साथ अपने मामा के यहाँ यूएस जा पहुँचता है और वहाँ वे ठगी करने लगते हैं। आखिरकार एक दिन वे पुलिस की गिरफ्तर में आ ही जाते हैं और उनकी दोस्ती में दरार भी आ जाती है। इधर करण के मामा को व्यवसाय में जबरदस्त नुकसान होता है। करण इस बार सही रास्ते पर चलते हुए अपने तेज दिमाग और साथियों की मदद से उनकी कंपनी को हुए नुकसान को फायदे में बदल देता है और वे सही रास्ते पर चलने में ही अपनी भलाई समझते हैं। फिल्म शुरुआत में तो ठीक है, जब फिल्म का हीरो करण कानून की खामियों के जरिये खूब पैसा कमाता है। लेकिन उसके अमेरिका पहुँचते ही फिल्म में बोरियत हावी हो जाती है। कई दृश्य बेहद लंबे हैं और उनमें दोहराव भी है। यहाँ से ऐसी घटनाएँ घटती हैं जो विश्वसनीय नहीं है। करण के लिए सारी चीजें बड़ी आसान हैं। यूएस के लोगों को वह ऐसे बेवकूफ बनाता है, जैसे वे कुछ जानते ही नहीं हो। ऐसा लगता है कि पुलिस नाम की चीज वहाँ पर है ही नहीं। जब लेखक को लगता है कि करण को पुलिस के हवाले किया जाना चाहिए तब वह पुलिस के हत्थे चढ़ता है। चारों दोस्तों में विवाद को ठीक से जस्टिफाई नहीं किया गया है। बस उन्हें लड़ते हुए दिखाना था, इसलिए वे लड़ पड़ते हैं। क्लाइमैक्स में उन्हें एक होना था, इसलिए वे साथ हो जाते हैं। उनके अलग होने या साथ होने पर किसी किस्म का दु:ख या खुशी नहीं होती। दोस्तों की कहानी में जो मौज-मस्ती होना चाहिए वो फिल्म से नदारद है। निर्देशक के रूप में परमीत सेठी ने कुछ अच्छे दृश्य फिल्माए हैं, लेकिन अपनी ही लिखी स्क्रिप्ट की खामियों को वे छिपा नहीं पाए। शाहिद और अनुष्का जैसी जोड़ी उनके पास होने के बावजूद उन्होंने रोमांस को पूरी तरह इग्नोर कर दिया। उन्होंने कहानी को इस तरह स्क्रीन पर पेश किया है कि दर्शक इन्वाल्व नहीं हो पाता है। शाहिद कपूर का अभिनय ठीक है, लेकिन वे इतने बड़े स्टार नहीं बने हैं कि इस तरह की कमर्शियल फिल्मों का भार अकेले खींच सके। अनुष्का शर्मा को भले ही कम अवसर मिले, लेकिन वे अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराने में कामयाब रहीं। वीर दास और मियांग चैंग ने शाहिद का साथ बखूबी निभाया है। प्रीतम द्वारा संगीतबद्ध ‘चस्का-चस्का’ और ‘जिंगल-जिंगल’ सुने जा सकते हैं। फिल्म का बैकग्राउंड म्यूजिक उम्दा है और 90 के दशक की याद दिलाता है। कुल मिलाकर इस ‘बदमाश कंपनी’ के प्रॉफिट एंड लॉस अकाउंट में लॉस ज्यादा है।

Badmaash Company is an unimaginably boring film that is so amateurish it hurts. Peopled entirely by imbeciles, the film is about a bunch of swagger-happy bling-loving scamsters who come up with some mild manipulation with selling sneakers. So smitten is the director with this plan that he shows the team in action again and again, setting up sequence after sequence first so Shahid can slowly explain his plan and then repeating the shots so they can execute that very spelled-out plan. Meanwhile, we yawn and wait. Surely there must be more to an entire movie than a group of fools parading around in costumes and selling shoes. There is: they move on to doing the exact same thing with gloves. And we're shown it all again, oh yes. Mr Sethi, looking up the word 'montage' might be a good idea. And it's all soaked to the gills in cliche. There's melodrama of every kind, as moron by moron develops trouble -- daddy issues, relationship insecurity, alcoholism, overriding ambition, a suddenly stubborn gambling streak -- and all of it is as obvious as it gets. The two vivacious ladies on either side of me in the theatre today made a game out of predicting what hackneyed melodramatic lines and twists would come next: they were mostly right, and the few times they erred, their predictions were far superior to the directors. And before you think it's a so-bad-it's-good kinda film, it's not. It's just drab and repetitive and quite persistently annoying, and thanks to every theme being stretched out over and over again, feels absolutely unending. Shahid, as said, scowls and furrows his brow to look intense, makes puppy dog eyes while talking extra-plaintively to his folks, and raises eyebrows self-appreciatingly when he thinks he looks pretty. Meiyang Chang of Indian Idol [ Images ] seems to have gotten this gig simply because of his Chinese roots, leading to some weak gags. Vir Das plays a miraculously inconsistent character, one who starts off frivolous and armed with that Bollywood flavour of the season, a stutter, but loses that and his amorality as he turns into the calm one. And all of these boys, these boys acting as if in a poor school play, are outdone completely by the girl, who is in a whole different league of awful. Anushka Sharma, clad in technicolor pants and trying hard to look at ease while showing skin, is painful right from her first shot, where she overacts while chewing bubblegum. And giving her a casually sexy personality -- complete with the most wannabe vocabulary of all time, freakin' screwy stuff, yeah -- doesn't help matters. It's hard to take this sort of film seriously, a film that lathers on the same lackluster ideas over and over again, expecting us to lap it up but actually beating us into stupor. There's not a single scene in the film that actually works, and there are a couple that just hurt: including a very poorly thought out reference to a music legend. Nope, all they get right with Badmaash Company are the first three letters of the title.

Badmaash Company started off on a high note, slick; stylish and cool cast members. The movie is Shahid's all the way with good performances from Anushka and the other 2 (sorry 4get their names). first half definetly better than 2nd. Felt the script nd editing could have bn tighter plus youngistanis are sooo bored of the preachy vibes which are a neccesity in otherwise good YRF films. Initially thought the movie was inspired by BBC's HUSTLE but was wrong-would've been much better if it had..

15 minutes into Badmaash Company,I knew that im going to experience something fresh(though there are movies made in the same genre), but what makes Badmaash Co an enjoyable ride is the perfomances to start with, every character in the movie is well etched and act their skin out, the conning episodes are a lot more realistic and refined when compared to an earlier yash raj movie bunty aur bubli, direction is top notch and music has already won over many hearts.
