What's the solution? There are hundreds of Aman Ganj in India where law and order do not exist, courtsey - the politicians (for merely 12000 votes?!). The movie shows the heartbreaking truth of the world of crime but ends very pessimistically. Had the screenplay be a tighter one the impact had been better.

One more trash movie on crime. The most boring is the narration. No doubt there is lot of crime…  

One more trash movie on crime. The most boring is the narration. No doubt there is lot of crime going on in India with the support of politicians. But the presentation is too poor. When a SP level police shoots some one in point blank range that in the face escape. Very hard to believe. Very poor screen play and story development. If the director really wanted the hero kill in climax he could have avoided this scene. New comer Sohum is too loud may he wanted to show easiness in acting. But failed flatly.On the whole a poor run of the mill film. But sad thing is that a seasoned critic like Taran Adarsh praising the movie.

Hard action. could say action non stop. very good permonces by the actors. first of all Om Puri (special at last 30 min). Mithun da was like alwas perfect, i agree with Tarans review about Mithun's role. Tinu Anand as Mamu excelent. Shakti Kapoor in a smole role was also top. and rest of actors done very good job. What depend Box office. I think it will be average +

Get this straight: 'Baabarr' is a brilliant film in all respects. The film might not be a typical Bollywood fare, but this one indeed a Trendsetter, in terms of Screenplay & Direction. On the whole 'Baabarr' is a fantastic attempt, translated into a high-class film. Filmmaker Ashu Trikha deserves full marks for directing the film in a rustic, but real look. Yes, the is gory, but that works in the favor of this film. The film talks about small kids thrown into the world of crime. A hard-hitting powerfull film, with an end that leaves you awe-struck! Box office wise, the should become a Super-Hit everywhere. Two Thumbs Up!
