ALL THE BEST is the new comic caper by Rohit shetty (golmaal and golmaal returns fame). All the best also promises to be from the mindless comedies we have seen the past. All the best has a good storyline but the first half is not so entertaining. Some punches work but the first half turns out to be normal. The story takes on when sanjay dutt enters the scene. The second half is just outstanding and makes you laugh till the climax. Screenplay is average in first half but entertains to the core in the 2nd half. Dialoges are truly funny. Music is not upto the mark. 'All the best' is the pick of the lot. Camera work is fine. Rohit shetty is good but he was better in golmaal. Sanjay dutt is a fantastic performer. he fills soul in the dull screenplay of the movie n continues to make you laugh till the end. Ajay devgn also is top-notch. He has learnt the art of comedy with golmaal and golmaal returns. Fardeen khan is okay after Heyy Babyy. Bipasha basu is sweet but Mugdha godse doesnt get much scope. Johnny lever is fantastic as the mute character n also excellent at the outburst in the cliamx. Asrani is fair. Mukesh tiwari is alright. Ashwini kalsekar hams due to improper role. Sanjay mishra is another scene-stealer. Overall,ALL THE BEST has a not-so entertaining first hour but a thoroughly entertaining second hour. A fun filled ride!
