Thala Ajith wraps the shoot of Valimai; release date to be announced soon
Fans of Thala Ajith have been eagerly awaiting an update on his next titled Valimai. The makers have now wrapped the shooting of the film after almost a year. The team shot for an action sequence for four days before calling it a wrap. The team is left with some patchwork scenes. Reportedly, the technical crew will stay back in Russia to complete the patchwork scenes.
Ajith was spotted at the airport on August 25 when he was on his way to Russia for the final schedule of the film. Having completed the shoot, the team will now head back to Chennai today. The release date of the film will be announced soon.
Valimai is a cop drama that was announced in early 2019. The shoot of the film went on for one-and-a-half years owing to the delays caused by the pandemic. The film directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor also stars Huma Qureshi, Kartikeya Gummakonda, Yogi Babu and Sumita in important roles.
