After Prabhas' Radhe Shyam, Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda reportedly planning to shoot in Italy

Prabhas and his co-star Pooja Hegde are currently shooting for their Telugu “intense love story” Radhe Shyam in Italy. The relatively lower Covid-19 rates are a large incentive for film shootings and the South producers are making the best of it. Several major stars and filmmakers are planning to shoot their films in Italy and other European countries where the cases of Coronova have declined considerably.

A well-informed source informs that Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda are the other Telugu superstars planning to shoot their next project in Italy and Europe. “Most places in India are hotspots for Coronavirus. In Europe, the numbers are declining and filmmakers from the South especially Andhra Pradesh are thinking of locating their films in and around Italy,” says an informed source.

 

Many filmmakers in the South are re-writing their scripts to accommodate European locations. Telugu superstar-director SS Rajamouli may also shoot at least a portion of his underproduction RRR in Italy.
