Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar advance booking: Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor starrer sells 25,900 tickets for Day 1
Four years after delivering Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Luv Ranjan is once again all set to return as a director with Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which is slated to release on March 8. The makers of the Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer started the advance booking from March 5 onwards. Going by the numbers, the film’s advance booking has taken a decent start.
According to reports, PVR, Inox and Cinepolis have sold 13,700, 8,000 and 4,200 tickets respectively for the first day of the film. This brings the total number to 25,900 as of Monday evening, that is March 6.
Speaking of TJMM, it has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U/A certificate and clocked at 159.59 minutes (2 hours, 39 min, 59 sec). Talking about its ensemble star cast, besides Ranbir and Shraddha, it also features Dimple Kapadia. In addition, it will mark the acting debut of stand-up comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi and producer Boney Kapoor.
